Just started up and I think I am addicted and it hasn't even been 24 hours.
Got myself a nice young keeper looks like he could become something special. Also bought myslelf a 20 yr old from the Windies.
Will be able to recruit myself some more youth tomorrow ;D
Also, a question, is it possible to assign a captain?

Who did you buy that WI guy from ;) If it's alleyne, you haven't got him yet, but no-one will outbid you.

Yeah you can choose a captain, you go to the match orders for the next game and choose the captain. Whether they are a good captain or not depends on their Experience and Captaincy put together.
