Yeah as long as I keep taking wickets this will be interesting. No surprises Roach got slammed, he's not a good enough bowler yet.

Oldfield just taken both batsmen in one over, now it's really interesting.

End of over 16 (5 runs) - No Capes(70-5). 92 runs required from 34 overs. RR 4.38 RRR 2.71
D. Oldfield 2-0-7-2, B. Gent 1 (2b), M. Pyke 4 (1b)

AFEV

H. Roach 6-0-31-0, M. Pyke 13 (28b), B. Gent 21 (47b)
End of over 28 (2 runs) - No Capes(103-5). 59 runs required from 22 overs. RR 3.68 RRR 2.68

Going to go down to the wire, it'll likely be 1-2 wickets or 10-20 runs.

AFEV

H. Roach 9-1-35-1, R. Roberts 1 (3b), B. Gent 30 (86b)
End of over 38 (maiden) - No Capes(129-7). 33 runs required from 12 overs. RR 3.39 RRR 2.75

The wickets are dropping in twos! I'll need to win by 1 wicket.

Sad day. :'( It's been a good 8 seasons.
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=340081
191 matches, 323 wickets, 2753 runs. My 3rd HoFer, but time to retire, and Harry Roach now takes over the reigns as the number one All Rounder.

And the gap is tightening at the top of the wicket taking column:
D. Dorenagama: 216
D. Oldfield: 208

Oldfield is 30, and not playing very often, as I'm favouring Mupariwa over him. All it takes though is 3 more matches, and they could easily come in PC next season. Might have to bring back Dorenagama for a game!

On the verge of another upset here, against my favourite opponent Cyrus. Our H2H is 8-8, but I'm always trying to overturn a huge MR deficit.
Today I batted first (Sunny/Sticky), and I made a pretty poor 138/10 off 44.2 overs. Aronstam made 55, but no one else really got going.
In reply, Things started pretty poorly aswell, I mean, how much pressure is there chasing 138? So at 51/0 off 12, I was pretty much gone. Then my two spinners came on. 18 overs later...

End of over 30 (2 runs) - Schweddy Balls(82-7). 57 runs required from 20 overs. RR 2.73 RRR 2.85
J. Kuhlengisa 6-0-14-1, A. Hill 7 (18b), R. Lafir 0 (1b)
John (lfs) has 6-1-9-2
Austin (rws) has 6-1-10-4

I'm a chance!

Quite possibly the biggest match of my FTP career tomorrow

If I win I will likely go 3 games ahead of 2nd in SOD. If I win things will have to go terribly wrong in the following 7 matches for me to not be a div 1 team next season. If I win I'll be looking likely to be div 1 in both senior leagues :o

Changed home pitch to a dry as noticed he only has 1 decent spinner vs. my 3. Here's to hoping it pays off. Before it was a dry I would have considered him the favourite, now, probably me.

Nails

S. Abdullah 5-0-19-0, M. Young 31 (60b), A. Gogler 28 (40b)
End of over 29 (5 runs) - The Nailers(112-3) RR 3.86

Going okay so far. Was uglier earlier.

Young was dropped on 15(45) and decided he'd start bashing some runs. It's a cloudy/dry and he only has 1 spinner who has bowled 4-1-17-0

Hopefully we can keep him quiet and continue like this.
