Greater fielding at times also can mean you tend to get more chances but not take them all

i.e. a team with 15K fielding might get 15 wicket chances and pass 9 but the team with 10K will get 5 and pass 4

But the team with better fielding can generate more chances, even if they don't pass a higher percent.

This is seen as like a team with better fielders a player can run to a ball to produce a catch chance whereas a team with shower fielders/slow fielders the player wouldn't reach the ball in time and it'd fall short, therefore not resulting in a wicket check

You should look at it as a positive. Look how many more checks you produced!

Won my match last night against HP but being 12 points behind CF at this point in the season gives me quite slim chances of defending my titl really.


Got challenged to a youth friendly on sunday by some random so accepted it.

Needed 2 runs to win, Raja his a 6 off the 1st delivery of the 36th over. He was 2nd and we were 4th so an important win to help prevent demotion as 4th to 7th all on 2 wins each.

Bowled him out after 40.4 overs on sunny/uneven for 135 and then chased it down without issue. Surprised just how easy that was.

10/12 wicket checks for my boys. All wickets coming from fielding.

Also 13/16 general fielding checks passed.

So i played Nails' affiliate today in a friendly, because according to him his affiliate is much better (H2H matches prove that) and I told him any pitch, any time, I'd beat him. So when he chose a Windy/Slow, my worst pitch (The only one that his main beat me on in the 8shes) I was worried.

Well, I beat your affiliate on my worst which is also one of it not your best pitch. That makes a pretty strong arguement, as does the 6-2 H2H.

5-6 of those matches are on a dry. Any team with 3 spinners vs. 2 spinners are better on a dry

Better management skills. You can't use that as an excuse, toherwise you can use it every time even though it's your own fault. On a Windy/Slow i have  2 mediums and 3 spinners, on a Humid/Uneven i have 2 fasties, a fm and two mediums, on a Hot/Hard i have a 2xf, m, fs, ws.

You could use the same excuse everytime when the truth is it's your fautl for not having the extra players to accomodate for those pitch types.

or establish a team with future gun potential. Only average age of like 24-25 and rating 202K

Unlike your team which is pretty much as good as peaked. If I was to have such a range of players I'd have to have a lesser standard of player across the board.

Right, well i have a squad of 19.

At 28 is when the super fast power training stops, so I assume you mean 28yo when you say "peaked". Of my 19,
Tonge is 32, and he is a reserve to Aronstam now.
Mukund is 30, and I have a 22yo replacement which will be playing ahead of him next season.
Craig is 30, the current replacement is only 20, so he'll probably play on through next season but Byrd will be right to the season after.
Oldfield is 28. I have a rfm and rfs (AR) which are both 20 and are being trained up in my superior SA.
The rest of my side hasn't peaked yet and I didn't rate too much under you.

Not to mention the 19 youths that i have in my lavish YA.

Stop saying you have a gun side because you don't. You don't have anyone that's a real standout in skills
