End of over 30 (2 runs) - Netherlands U19(127-2). 141 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.23 RRR 7.05
S. de Smeth 16 (30b), S. Heimans 51 (62b) , V. Shah 10-1-24-0

Shah's NAT u19 OD debut tonight. He has played T20 before but not u19 NAT OD.

Took the final catch of the match to finish Holland off :)

Was economical and kept pressure on Holland, shame about the lack of wickets. I'm beginning to think the Banga managers use him as an economical fasty because he never goes for many runs (has a ER below 6 in T20)

I win, i assure promotion, i lose, i battle it out on NRR to see who goes up.

End of over 40 (9 runs) - Chennai Super Kings(263-4) RR 6.58
G. Subramanium 2 (1b), A. Priyadarshi 51 (47b) , C. Warakagoda 6-0-44-1

Humid/Flat, not the greatest score, and with my fairly decent batsmen i thought i'd get this total....

End of over 37 (maiden) - PowerBugCC(202-10). 62 runs required from 3 overs. RR 5.46 RRR 20.67
C. Warakagoda 4 (12b), N. Rafique 6.1-1-37-2

Not happy. The ladder is even more interesting:

2--  PowerBugCC: 12-11-1-0-44   +2.3131

I don't think i'm gonna promote now :-\ His games are slightly easier than mine. To get better NRR boosts, should i bowl first on stickies and put my bats on A?? I'm gonna win next week easily, so need to find maximum NRR booster.

No way, that's suicide PB. What you need to do IMO is to play on a Dry or Crumbler. Your Seam ratings are very ordinary, that's why I suggest a Dry or Crumbler. I'd then play your batsmen on Neutral with maybe one or two on D, apart from the bottom 3 tailenders.

For instance N, N, D, N, N, D, N, N, D, D, D or maybe just one for the first opponent. If you do want one A order, I'd only do one, but that's it. You could use a sticky as your bowlers are your weakest aspect, but be cautious with your batsmen, no A orders and maybe 2-3 D's.

I'd bowl first too. I find that works for me on bowling favoured wickets.

For the second time this season I take down the top rating side in our league despite being outrated, it was the gamble of exposing the part time offies of Engelbert (He did okay, 1/42) in return for dropping my specialist Kruswijk so I could play the extra batsman in Van der Linden. He came in with us dead in the water at 5/69 but worked with Cusack then Hughes to get us back in it, a couple more wickets swung the game back his way till The Dutch Treat took the team on his shoulders and carried us home. With Wilkinson on tour Cusack's lead in the batting trophy went from 37 to 69

Stupid Cyrus and his wage monsters, dropped Samsodien ages ago but yeah. Game lost already.
