CF, we havent played in a while ;) challange me for thursday :P
Youth or senior?
your choice! i think it would be an easy win for you in youths though :-/
Yeah just looked at your recent youth match. Even my U18 side would beat you :P

Challenged for a senior game :)
Yeah thats quite true! Though im just trying to get myself some good 16yo this season and try not to get relegated!
A senior game will be pretty even though the pitch might just fabour me! ;)

We'll be able to challenge each other for the next sunday tomorrow ;)

End of over 50 (2 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(196-10) RR 3.92
R. Maloney 0 (3b) , D. Oldfield 9.3-0-49-2

As usual my top order struggles for runs. McEvoy out for 7, Deem 10, and Warwick 18. Got my keeper to open and he made a start before falling for 20, whilst Skinner and Brayshaw also made starts before both getting out for 33. My highest scorer though was number 8 batter Douglas Rees who put on 38 runs at the end.

Fasty Makund destroyed my top order, taking 6 of the first 7 wickets, finishing with figures of 6 for 33 from 10.

Hopefully I can defend 197 on a dry pitch...

hmmm, is he worth it??
http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=928808
whats he worth? gonna get him if its worth it,

Not worth it IMO.

By the time you train fielding to reas and it'll take a while to get his endo to somewhere decent he'll be older and be behind in prims.

CrowsFan

Agree with nails. Not really worth it

chrisuzz

i was looking at him for his captancy, i guess he wouldnt be full worth it with fielding  a level behind

Playing PB today. Since my batters have been really struggling lately and since I have never beaten PB I thought I would mix up the batting order and see how that goes...
I did the same with my lower order.

The Nailers    9   1   0   90.00
PowerBugCC   1   9   0   10.00

You've never beat PB? :P

We've only ever played each other once CF... you beat me in the first month I signed up and we haven't played since :-\
Yeah, i'm not too hard to beat. I still think the ME screwed up during that match Nails, i'm now allowed to beat you ;D THat was with a 20k rating deficit too.

I finally caught up bene watching on replay, and damn Mukund did some destroying!
S. Mukund (lf) 10-1-33-6

6 drop catches
8 catches
13 great fieldings
8 misfields

You need to tell your batters not to hit the ball in the air ;D

From:
End of over 26 (7 runs) - PowerBugCC(101-6). 96 runs required from 24 overs. RR 3.88 RRR 4.00
A. Merchant 0 (0b) , J. Vaishnavi 30 (30b) , W. Orange 5-0-16-3

To:
End of over 36 (2 runs) - PowerBugCC(152-6). 45 runs required from 14 overs. RR 4.22 RRR 3.21
J. Vaishnavi 64 (71b) , A. Merchant 13 (22b) , D. Brouwers 9-1-27-1

The capable batting on my No. 8 is proving helpful. :D

PowerBug

36.4 W Orange to Merchant : Good length delivery, pitched close to the off stump line and the ball nipped back in late, Merchant is caught on the wrong foot and in the end it was a nothing shot. He leaves a yawing gap between bat and pad through which comes the dreadful sound of timber breaking.
A. Merchant b. W. Orange 15 (27b 1x4 0x6) SR:55.56

And now i need the average batting on my No. 9 to show.
