First ever crowd over 5,000 at The Nailers CG today, happy tear  :'(

   That is the 100 partnership (101 runs, 139b, 5x4, 2x6) SR:72.66
23.3   4   Robinson to Reardon : [misfield] Thuvaradran failed to get down in time and the ball races away towards the sightscreen.

Great partnership, great effort on a Dry/Cloudy when I'm likely to get outrated... It's a good thing this guy doesn't have any spinners :D

      That is 50 runs for Simon (50 runs, 76b 2x4 1x6) SR:65.79
23.6   2   Robinson to Simon : Whipped away to Gulzar at deep mid wicket for 2 runs.

That is 50 runs for Reardon (50 runs, 72b 3x4 1x6) SR:69.44
24.4   2   Finnigan to Reardon : Straight back down the wicket and they scamper through for 2.

End of over 25 (7 runs) - The Nailers(114-1) RR 4.56
R. Simon 51 (77b) , J. Reardon 53 (74b) , J. Finnigan 3-0-15-0

37 runs off the last 5 overs :)

25.1   1   Robinson to Reardon : [dropped] Oh dear. Reardon has sent the ball high into the air. Gulzar positions himself under it and... oh no, he's dropped it! Let me tell you, if looks could kill, Robinson would be on trial right now...

phew

0/66 scored from over 21-30

38.3   W   Hurst to Simon : That ball from Hurst has nipped off the pitch and cannoned into the pads of Simon. The umpire has given it and Simon is not very happy with that decision. The replay shows that it was missing leg by quite a considerable margin.
R. Simon lbw b. D. Hurst 96 (125b 6x4 2x6) SR:76.80

:(

38.4   .   Hurst to Rayne : [dropped] That's skied to mid-wicket where Robinson is fielding and drops one he should have taken. Hurst and Ali shake their heads in disbelief as Robinson looks for a shady spot to hide.

PHEW :D

End of over 39 (10 runs) - The Nailers(197-2) RR 5.05
S. Rayne 4 (3b) , J. Reardon 78 (109b) , D. Hurst 10-0-45-2

   That is 100 runs for Reardon (102 runs, 125b, 5x4, 1x6) SR:81.60
43.6   4   Finnigan to Reardon : Slightly short ball there from Finnigan and Reardon, with a lover's gentle touch, has delicately caressed it out to deep cover point, where it eludes Thuvaradran's desperate embrace and gently kisses the boundary rope. And to think, Mills and Boon keep rejecting my manuscripts

Great innings Reardon.

End of over 50 (14 runs) - The Nailers(290-5) RR 5.80
J. Reardon 137 (142b) , E. Deveney 0 (0b) , J. Finnigan 10-0-80-2

Great work boys, shame about two wickets in the last over destroying averages. Very good effort on a cloudy/dry

I guess a dry against a team without a spinner is similar to a hard/flat :g

Gonna be close, but my seamers love this pitch, so i think i'll get over the line.

Alam has called tails correctly and has decided to bat. Ahsen's Awesome XI will start their innings shortly.
I was going to bowl anyway. :)

13.3   W   Ud-Din to Ali : It's a comedy of errors! Ud-Din sent down a rank long hop that deserved to clear the ropes, and yet Ali has not only failed to do so, he's actually bottom-edged it onto his own stumps. One of the worst wicket balls Ud-Din will ever deliver.
A. Ali b. A. Ud-Din 26 (35b 2x4 0x6) SR:74.29

Ud-Din at it again!

End of over 14 (maiden) - Puma Dragons(62-3). 229 runs required from 36 overs. RR 4.43 RRR 6.36

Yeah, he'll sell, but i say hold off until EOS if you can. ;)

Why are you so low in cash?
Are the wages too high, or are you just not getitng enough people into your games?

I'd say wait until affiliate teams move in and raise the market standard.

In very low divisions, with a total of 4 managed teams (including me), across all 3 leagues.
got approximately 700 supporters, but they are going up by 11-12 each week.
Usually lose around 40k without Academy investments, at the finance update.
andyeah..

but yea i guess it makes sence to just hold on.

Having mainly bots doesn't help. All i can suggest to to win games. Maybe you'll need to sell someone at a later date.

17.4 W Ferrall to Peachey : [catch] That's very full from Ferrall, it's just about waist height and Peachey has absolutely creamed that down to deep extra cover where he picks out Merchant. The umpires are checking with each other here, there seems to be some confusion, and it seems it is NOT a no ball. Peachey is on his way, and he is fuming with that decision.
C. Peachey c A. Merchant b. J. Ferrall 34 (50b 0x4 1x6) SR:68.00

Finally got a wicket. Ferrall now is acc/acc, and he delivers.

A. Alam 25 (20b) , J. Evans 63 (82b) , S. Mukund 6-0-18-0

Halfway. Not too worried, he is going faster then what i want, but my batting line-up can chase down 300 easily. He has two spinners, one medium, and two FM's in his side, so when the spinners come on i reckon they can go for 6-7 per over.

Btw Nails, the guys tou're playing bought Adam Fenwick, (Guy i was after) he's like a ridiculous player, spec/spec from memory, and is showing how good he is. Looks like you have it in the bag though. :)

That is 5 wickets for Black!
6.4   W   Black to O'Mullane : [catch] Huge outswinger by Black! O'Mullane is slow to move his feet and edges the ball to Doyle. Great bowling!

Black Going Coco Banana's  ;D

Edit
6.6   W   Black to Fitzgerald : [catch] Slower ball outside the off stump, Fitzgerald doesn't get the required elevation to clear the man inside the circle and holes out to Afridi at mid-off. It's a combination of smart bowling and poor batting.
M. Fitzgerald c H. Afridi b. E. Black 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
