Scott Taylor:
30 Jul 10 00:30     Achieved his best One Day bowling figures of 5-8

Ahh still remember those days, treat him well Shaggy :)

Damage the Australia U19 Nat Manager was looking at my team today though

Alot of guys on attacking and defensive :o. I don't go to that extent for my guys. I have 2 bowlers who play offensive when batting and 2 that play defensive because they have bad power. I also go in with an offensive opener and a defensive one. Then maybe another aggressive/defensive order or two for batting and that's done.

Bowling attack for you 8-6 seems good. Nice mix. 4 pacers and 1 is a fasty 8). I got spell 10 of offensive as the other team's batsman would be aggressive (automatically changed) at that stage of the game. Make them pay if they want to take some shots ;). Alot of orders that could be overwritten automatically depending on the game situation (if they are on the ropes, your guys go aggresive. If they are smashing you, they go defensive). I do quite a few myself so don't see a problem here :P.

Yeah I think the nat managers just have wayyy to much time on their hands :P :P :P
Putting Jay Rao back up for 5k this time.

Is there any room for Grey in my team? I need some pace in my team but I already have 4 players who can't do ANYTHING with the bat.

Then there is the issue that he is an old ball bowler, so I would have to choose between opening with him and using his talent.
Also needs more power to get the most out of his pace...

Maybe not just yet.

Seriously, why does this guy go for way over 30k and Taylor, who is better, goes for 6k?

The only thing I could think of would be a drunk bidding war :P
If my 3 guys for for 6k I will be happy enough :)

Alex, I know this may disappoint you, but I don't think I will play Hartigan against you....giving him a week off all matches and training unless the are possible for me to lose, still deciding whether I will need him against you....

Yeah I need to roll a few changes for the One day match too. McGregor and Rabbani gets their chance, and Swift and Chancellor come from the Youth team to play, Swift on debut

8-6 Suited

Johnstone is a bit weak for an all rounder though. You wont need his bowling abilities which isn't very much. And his batting isn't strong either. Plus has absolutely no power.

Hard to really measure form without giving them a go. It all depends on the pitch conditions really. What are they for your game Alex? Your main enemy in your line up is the lack of power in your batters. :(

You guys have been playing this game longer than myself but just been reading a lot of the forums. Learning a hell of a lot in the last 3 days from there.

I read through their forums every now and again. Some handy hints come up every now and again.

Hartigan resting for my one dayer, in comes the 20 year old Siboto for some experience.

So is it OK if he rests instead of playing against you Alex?

Would you share any of those hints ;)

Can I just say something R&B? Friendly matches don't effect endurance or fatigue :P

Yeah I know Shaggy it is tough. McEvoy, Hewawasm, Barlow and Antoine are all training in power. I will keep a lookout for a batter with good power. Unfortunately the only player I have with good power is van der Graaf who is a spin bowler :(

EDIT: I found a guy named Edward Higgins with cap/cap/cap batting/tech/power, reasonable endurance and he is cheap...
