So in my U18 match against zz today I ended up coming out 2 wicket winners :)

Bowled first on a dry pitch and kept them to 9 for 168 from their 40 overs. Jonathan van der Hoeven the pick of the bowlers picking up 4 wickets. Then in the chase managed to get there with 7 balls to spare. Sargeant (60) and Wilkinson (55) combined with a 104 run partnership to put us in a strong position, but some late wickets made the finish a rather nervy one.

Man of the Match
3. Jonathan van der Hoeven - 4 for 15 from 8 overs.
2. Wachiru Kibaki - scored 29 runs from 48 balls for zz, then took 2 for 28 from 8 overs trying to defend the target.
1. Colwin Sargeant - 60 runs from 93 balls opening the batting, plus took a catch in the field.

poor at 22yo = no fun at all :(

Back when I was starting out, I got http://fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=418179 for 6k. He was 20, and Accom/Accom. Cheap, I know. But I was not smart enough to see what he could become, only what he was. Then I sold him. That is my biggest regret in this game. So whatever you do, dont sell 20 yr olds. They have so much potential. Dont sell them. I never do, but maybe as all my youths suck :P.
Also help me decide, join the Dutch or the Bermudans?

I also have another 5 20yos though. Bubb only just popped to accom tech... therefore only just accom/accom. He also popped to ordinary exp this season... Therefore not sure if I see a bright future for him.

The best thing about Bubb is he is already at capable fielding :) but he's only a capable bat when in ave form :(


re: Dutch or Bermudans... go to random.org - make the Dutch no.1 Bermudans no.2 and then generate a number between 1 and 2... if 1 comes up you join Bermuda, if 2 comes up you join the Netherlands.

This is how I select who I'm going to make my YP every week too :)
