Hahaha PB :D

9.5   W   Texel to Slaughter : Slaughter comes down the pitch and smacks it for...wait he's out! Played all around it!
E. Slaughter b. T. Texel 17 (28b 1x4 1x6) SR:60.71

The Sheep refused to be slaughtered today.

(b 0, lb 0, w 1, nb 4)

Why sooo many bowling extras?  >:(

10.1   W   Ud-Din to Campbell : Terrible batting from Campbell. I could have driven a double decker bus through the gap between his bat and pad, so it's no surprise to see the off stump pegged back.
O. Campbell b. A. Ud-Din 20 (36b 2x4 0x6) SR:55.56

First delivery of the match! Ud-Din strikes! :D great work dinny.

Williams has called heads and lost the toss. Mamta ponders for a moment before deciding to bowl first. Mike Whitney's afro! will start their innings shortly.

Yesss :) Just want I wanted.

What'd you want to do McRoo? (if you still read the FTP section)

This helps me greatly now as my batsmen (mostly set to D) can chase based on the RRR not just bat D the whole time.
Not one attacking batsman today, and four defensive. Yeah I would have like to bowled first  :P

Nice start by my Openers, just warming up for Apu and Ud-Din  ;)

Home today with my sick son so it is the first game in ages I've been able to watch live, sorry I haven't been in the FTP boards much - good luck with the rest of the match Nails!

*Dang, out goes Slaughter  >:(

-Maybe all your extras are because your bowlers are set too aggressive??

*Dang, both Openers gone - Ud-Din strikes!

    End of over 11 (10 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(52-2) RR 4.73
K. Sheridan 10 (5b) , T. Stevenson 0 (1b) , A. Ud-Din 1-0-10-1

WTF?

I have Ud-Din on D to be economical and a wicket is superb, but 10 runs? srs?

11.4   .   Sreerupa to Sheridan : [dropped] Edged and dropped! Nicked to Yogish at first slip and it's gone straight through his hands and hit him in the jatz crackers! He's gone straight down and the physio runs onto the field with the magic spray, much to the bemusement of his team mates.

Sorry Sreerupa, we didn't mean for your first chance w/ The Nailers to go to ground  ::)

McRooster

Sheridan is set on D in case the two openers went cheaply, hoping he can consolidate on that ripping start  :-\

Nails

As he walked out to the middle and McRooster shouted from the pavilion "bat defensively please Sheridan!" he must have misheard and thought you said aggressively...

PowerBug

That ends the innings of PowerBugCC. Clyde Cougars will have a target of 284 to chase.

End of over 50 (11 runs) - PowerBugCC(283-6) RR 5.66
D. Dorenagama 20 (21b) , B. Harku 48 (41b) , K. Raja 10-0-60-1

Not bad hey?
Let's see how Livingston and Vadher go opening the bowling.

yep your right my calculation was wrong :( want him to ave 100 before seniors tho :(
Well this is how it stacks up for a 100 average Cic. There are 5 games left so let's say he bats in all 5 games, the amount of runs scored depends on how many times he remains not out.
So if he remains not out:
• No times - 601 runs required (avg. 120.2 per game)
• Once - 501 runs required (avg. 100.2 per game)
• Twice - 401 runs required (avg. 80.2 per game)
• Three times - 301 runs required (avg. 60.2 per game)
• Four times - 201 runs required (avg. 40.2 per game)
• Five times - 101 runs required (avg. 20.2 per game)

Obviously makes it much easier if he is not out a couple of times ;)

he should get 40 per game without hassle (i hope)

16.3   W   Ud-Din to Sheridan : [stumped] Sleek work from Sweeney, no need for the replay. The batsman's patience gave way as he shimmied and shuffled down the pitch. Ud-Din saw him coming and cleverly dragged it down, completely beating him with some sharp spin.
K. Sheridan st J. Sweeney b. A. Ud-Din 10 (16b 2x4 0x6) SR:62.50

Ud-Din this is why you'll always be my boy. You're a champ and come through for me time after time. Thank you champ.

18.5   W   Ud-Din to Fleming : [catch] Fleming tried to tuck the ball behind square, but got a leading edge straight back to Ud-Din.
D. Fleming c & b. A. Ud-Din 2 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR:25.00

Ud-Din YOU GUN! I need to put you on D more often.

CAUGHT AND BOWLED! Getting dem wickets and making your charge for the Mark Waugh medal! GUN!!!!!!

D. Fleming c & b. A. Ud-Din 2 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR:25.00

Fleming is an Out/bat and spin specialist talent - how does he get out for 2 against a spinner  ::)

Things should stabilise a bit now with two Spec/Tech guys at the crease  :-\

PowerBug

End of over 6 (8 runs) - Clyde Cougars(35-0). 249 runs required from 44 overs. RR 5.83 RRR 5.66
Z. Abdel 16 (21b) , G. Bailey 17 (15b) , C. Vadher 3-0-11-0

No wickets yet, no problem though. Just got to be patient.

Outstanding bat and spin spec?

So? LOL McRoo.

This pitch is a spinner's paradise... And Ud-Din is an exceptional summary bowler.

The way I look at it the bonus from spin spec is cancelled out by the bonus of a spinner's delight pitch...

Therefore excep vs outs bowler, easy :) Lurve you McRooster :) good to have you back.

T. Stevenson c A. Ud-Din b. D. Stone 18 (48b 0x4 0x6) SR:37.50

Come on Ud-Din! Make that Mark Waugh medal yours!

PowerBug

End of over 10 (1 run) - Clyde Cougars(54-1). 230 runs required from 40 overs. RR 5.40 RRR 5.75
G. Bailey 20 (29b) , D. Gama Pinto 6 (6b) , C. Vadher 5-0-18-1

Bring on Dorenagama! he'll bowl 10 straight now. Oldfield will bowl 10 straight from the other end.

PowerBug

And his first two go for 16 runs :(

Nails

27.3   4   Mamta to Haynes : [dropped] Texel misjudges the skier at long-on and allows a boundary

Dropped catches! OH THE PAIN!

That makes both my spec summary bowlers wicketless and with dropped catches on their bowling.

Oldfield to Bailey : [catch] Out! Bailey has nicked a regulation outswinger from Oldfield to Dorenagama at first slip.
G. Bailey c D. Dorenagama b. D. Oldfield 34 (46b 3x4 0x6) SR:73.91

Dorenagama couldn't take the wicket, but he contributes with a catch.

EDIT: 18.3 - Dorenagama to Tobin : Superb delivery from Dorenagama! Just tailed in toward the stumps before seaming away off the pitch and clipping the top of off. Absolutely unplayable.
J. Tobin b. D. Dorenagama 4 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR:40.00
