However, be ware that i have just posted my progress, so i will most likely lose a wicket within the next 2 overs... -.-

why have you got your best bat at 4?

Average is better than Ordinary isn't it? Cause my top3 are average batting.

I thought 30yos were meant to decrease in skills every week?

Mamta hasn't dropped one rating point... I've had him on rest this whole time, perhaps I should have been training him up a bit  :'(

He doesn't play many games so doesn't need to be on rest  ::)

31 what? and it varies how much players go up or down when training after the age of 30, some go up still (very slowly) some go down (sometimes very fast) and some go up then down, or down then up, or up then down then up then down then up then.... you get the idea

Nails

Should I take him off rest then? He's not going to be playing a match for another 8-9 days so fatigue is not a worry...

If so what should I train him on? I could have got a pop out of him in something by now maybe :(

CrowsFan

Fielding is the obvious thing to train him in

Nails

Not obvious for me :P

I'm still learning :)

People talk about how much fielding slows with age so was not sure if it was something that'd take like 100 seasons to pop...

I figured I could get one more power pop a lot faster than a fielding pop... He'll probably have to play all games next season and therefore go onto rested training.

But if fielding is what you think is best, fielding is what he'll train on :)

CrowsFan

Well all skills slow down with age, except for endurance which remains level and power which increases with age.
So you would still get a fielding pop faster than a primary pop at any age.
I say train fielding cos his fielding is awful

Nails

He has 3.6K spare ratings... I could have got 1-2 little pops out of him with a bit of luck...

Hopefully he has 999 spare fielding ratings so I can get a pop tomorrow, get him to reas and then get a quick pop in power... then hopefully he has 980 spare tech ratings so I can get a tech pop...

all before EOS  ;D - if only.

Playing against a guy who rated 93k last week so thought it would be a tough game for me. Have been set a target of 224 for victory on a HARD wicket. I reckon I can chase that down quite easily especially since the pitch and weather (humid) don't suit his bowlers at all! 4 spinners and a medium is what he has, so they should be torn apart >:D
