A hattrick for Buckley!
16.4   W   Buckley to Frances : [catch]  Makin might have taken some grief for eating all the pies, but a nice soft stomach was needed to help cushion the shot giving enough time for him to claim the catch.
J. Frances c A. Makin b. N. Buckley 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
16.3   W   Buckley to Slight : Oh, what's this? Out! Stumped I think... yes, a pretty innocuous ball from Buckley just had Slight drawn a bit too far forward and his foot slipped out of the crease.
R. Slight st W. Carey b. N. Buckley 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
16.2   W   Buckley to McGregor : Huge lbw appeal by Buckley... and up goes the finger! McGregor is shaking his head in disagreement, but the umpire continues to give him the finger and insists he take a walk.
M. McGregor lbw b. N. Buckley 8 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR:80.00

Great work by Buckley. :D

Bazinga

17.1 W Cartwright to Hubertus : What was Hubertus thinking? Either have a go, or leave it alone. A nothing shot gives the easiest of catches to Gidley.
B. Hubertus c K. Gidley b. J. Cartwright 8 (14b 0x4 0x6) SR:57.14

17.5 W Cartwright to Murch : [catch] Short ball, and hooked straight down the throat of the man in the deep! Out!
M. Murch c S. Cooper b. J. Cartwright 0 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

That is 5 wickets for Cartwright!

17.6 W Cartwright to Chengelpet : [Yorker] The yorker hits Chengelpet on the toe in front of off stump. The umpire raises the finger and Chengelpet limps away towards the pavilion.
A. Chengelpet lbw b. J. Cartwright 9 (8b 0x4 0x6) SR:112.50

19.6 W Cartwright to McPherson : McPherson didn't seem to pick up the slower ball and played right over the top of it.
C. McPherson b. J. Cartwright 9 (9b 2x4 0x6) SR:100.00

7.2   W   Roodt to Makin : Clueless, utterly clueless - Makin lunges forwards and has his furniture smashed to smithereens by a wicked delivery from Roodt. Makin won't want to see that on the replay tonight.
A. Makin b. L. Roodt 26 (22b 1x4 0x6) SR:118.18

Then Makin 2 balls later.

Checking back at my innings, saw this very exciting over!

18.6 W Shadows to McFarlane : Controversy here as McFarlane refuses to walk! Snicko is inconclusive, but McFarlane clearly felt there was no edge. Eventually he trudges disconsolately back to the pavilion, but the Match Referee may have something to say about that little episode!
B. McFarlane c G. Craig b. M. Shadows 120 (72b 12x4 4x6) SR:166.67

18.5 4 Shadows to McFarlane : Glorious shot there. If McFarlane were any more on fire, he would spontaneously combust.
18.4 6 Shadows to McFarlane : Drags it down and McFarlane rocks back to violently mow it over square leg and into the stands. Tremendous power, but an extremely average delivery.

    That is the 150 partnership (151 runs, 86b, 15x4, 3x6) SR:175.58
18.3 4 Shadows to McFarlane : McFarlane has timed that cover drive to perfection - four runs!
18.2 4 Shadows to McFarlane : The batsman is moving around in his crease trying to put Shadows off and it appears to have worked with Shadows gifting him an errant full toss which is dispatched to the boundary for 4 more.

    That is 100 runs for McFarlane (102 runs, 67b, 9x4, 3x6) SR:152.24
18.1 6 Shadows to McFarlane : Length ball from Shadows, on off stump, but McFarlane is able to get underneath it and send it away towards the mid-wicket boundary, staying on one knee for the cameras. Great cricketing shot, showing that you don't need to slog the ball to get the maximum.
