I would wait till EOS Cyrus if you can .. there is nothing on the market atm and you should find some good quality 20yo's on the market at EOS for a bargain price. My advice would be to try and save some $$$ between now and EOS, then buy a few quality 20yo's to build your team around.

Nails you base too much weight on the spare ratings of a player.
If they're not your player then you don't know what they have been training so spare ratings should kinda be ignored.
He may have only just popped to acc/acc and the spare ratings are all in other things. Means you would have to wait around 10 weeks for a primary pop

He would be a nice AR for a starting club.  Especially considering his age and the fact you can just leave him on primary training for the next 4 - 5 years then switch to fielding/endurance/power.  His experience would be quite good by 25 as well (if you play him in every SOD & T20)
