Fell over the line to keep my hopes of staying in Div 2 of T20 alive. Crumbling pitch almost caught us out but we snuck in by 2 runs

Luigi197

Result:   Luigi Industries won by 161 runs
Toss:   Luigi Industries won the toss and elected to bat.
Man of the match:   Herbert Finch (3 points)(5/16 off 3.5)(+ a hattrick), Austin Rundell (2)(95 off 45), Kevin Daley (1)(3/12 off 4)
-I Reckon Applethewaite the captain deserves a mention. 64 runs off 36 bowls NOT OUT. 1/23 off 2 overs.
-And K Bray with 47 off 20.

Some of my worst ratings for a long time because I am trying something.
From now, have put every player training on REST, and for every fixture this week (except FFAL), i am playing a very bad team, like this one, mainly including my good youths, or 20 year olds who never play.
But i should mention that this team i smashed IS MANAGED, but only joined a little while ago, and is most likely yes to use/spend money.

CrowsFan

I won by 5 wickets ;D

Chased down the target of 144, scoring the winning single on the final ball of the match. It was an extremely nerve racking finish!!

Man of the Match
3. Atul Suriyaprakash - 2 for 26 from 4 overs, plus 16 not out from 11 balls to get me the win :)
2. Neville Khan - 2 for 16 from 4 for the other team
1. Patrick Morrison - 2 for 28 from 4, also from the other team.

Not sure how Orange didn't get in the top 3 with 2 for 15 from 4 when those other 2 bowlers did?

This win leaves me the only undefeated team in div 3.2! I thought at the start of the season I was going to be relegated too :o

   End of over 19 (1 run) - GATTINGS LUNCHBOX(94-9) RR 4.95
A. Westbrook 9 (7b) , D. Cameron 1 (2b) , K. Raja 4-0-23-3
18.6   1   Raja to Cameron : Cameron shows great grace and timing hitting it to the covers for 1. Beautiful to watch but only one to the score.
18.5   .   Raja to Cameron : Fired wide outside off by Raja. Cameron misses it, and looks expectantly at the umpire, who does not flinch. If Cameron had stood his ground instead of backing away, he would have been able to reach it just fine. Smart bowling.
18.4   W   Raja to Wilberforce : [catch] Raja gets the edge. Wilberforce slams his bat into his pads and stomps off to the dressing room.
J. Wilberforce c J. Bradshaw b. K. Raja 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

18.3   W   Raja to McDonnell : [runout] Conflicting decision by McDonnell and Westbrook shows a flaw in democracy when one says no, and the other says yes - worse when they're both in the middle of the pitch. McDonnell takes responsibility as Bradshaw strikes the bails.
R. McDonnell run out (A. Qassem) 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

18.2   W   Raja to McDonough : Raja strikes! It was outside the off stump, McDonough a bit lazy with the drive through the off side, gets the edge through to Bradshaw behind the wicket, who takes the catch at a comfortable height.
E. McDonough c J. Bradshaw b. K. Raja 17 (20b 1x4 0x6) SR:85.00

18.1   .   Raja to McDonough : [dropped] McDonough hits it hard in the air towards point. Wade gets a hand to it but can't quite hold on.

good over
