Look Cookie, we have 2 players in our squad with outstanding fielding. A lot of teams get their players to outstanding fielding. Nieklot, the games #1 player has all his players at Outstanding fielding.

Exceptional/Exceptional is a waste mate. Ask Ash, he only has 3 of his players there. The rest are Spec/Spec with spec-world class secondaries.

so training to exceptional is a waste shaggy? if thats the case all my side is pretty much therebut dont have the secondaries due to age. i am lucky to have Vijaya though, got him from gilchrists XI for 200k

I'd be more concerned about performance than primaries. I like my anchor batsmen in both NT/Club to be exceptional primaries like Pollucksingh, sacrificing 5 levels of power, sitting around accomplished or expert power, but with very high experience. And I like to partner them up with a high power batsman like Peter Daicos from my team. Although Daicos is Spec/Outs with spec power, I'd prefer someone much more like the following:

I'd get your player to Rel fielding first Cookie if you were thinking of "what he needs to get into NATs"

Rel fielding, then spec/spec bat/tech and then work on Power for a loooong time, then a bit more endo.

Fielding is too low, no one will make NT without Reliable or better at a younger age now. He will also need at least reliable-accomplished power and expert power to tour.

The one thing I don't see you making it though will be hi experience. Way too low to some other batsmen we have in a similar age bracket and a long way behind our batsmen on training plans like the following.

He should pop to spec batting very soon and he is currently on fielding training to pop to capable. Due to not making u/19s or me being in higher leagues his exp is a worry. i am hoping to have him at spec/spec by the EOS. If all goes well next season should be purley strength endurance and most likely fielding
