DAMMIT I overpayed :'( Why did I spend so much on a 29 year old? ::)

So, asking for everyone's thoughts on who should go:
Ali: http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=140887 - Opener talent, not much else really going for him.
Harrison: http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=91459 - Solid sort of Spec summary player.
Zia off the cards, he's my gun.
Valkjosandi also off the cards.
Furlonge: http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=150849 - Had him for ages, similar to Harrison. Solid player, but not a freak.

One of them has to make way for my new purchase...

Also, I have Etwaroo (AR) and McInnes coming through to replace some of the 30 year olds, so don't panic ;)

You paid so much for a 29yo because he might be the one who saves you from demotion RB ;)

if I were you I'd get rid of Joe Harrison RB, is he only spec summary 'cause of capable form?

He's one year older than Ali
His power is less than Ali's,
Ali is only 1 level less on endo but you can easily train Ali on endo to be just as good if not better in endo by this time next year. Ali has a relevant talent, Harrison doesn't.

The only thing Harrison really has in favour IMO is his exp.

I'd rate Furlonge a level above these two though.

Ali has 4.5k SR.
So probably has more going for him than Harrison. Plus opener talent is nice.

roo boys!

Alright, Harrison is up for sale. GO GO GO!

Thanks guys :)

Justin Bieber

I'd probably have gone Ali but not by much over Harrison :-X.

Your buy was great for your team RB but probably an overpay due to age. His skills are there so could stick around for 3-4 seasons, even if he does start plopping.

Come on n00bs one more bid for Ryan to get him past 150k  :P

On a side note the time between PC and GC sucks. I'm bored  :P

Aren't we all.
Still, I have bikram today. Should be good.

Which batter should I get rid of?

Not sure cookie, but I think Cook is worth keeping.
Why do you need both Msipha and Burton?

cookie311993

They will be very useful I think.  2 all rounder creates longer batting order

Your being greedy  :P
This is the AR im eyeing off - http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=325643
Similar to Burton apart from experience. Also he is an LFS, not an RM.

cookie311993

I might be being greddy but it will benefit me in the future i am pretty sure. That player is pretty dear Maca. I played 230k for Burton and Burton has reliable experience compared to average

Yeh im bargaining him down. When did you purchase Burton?

cookie311993

i got him at the start of last season, and he should be an absolute freak for me when he reaches 26/27

Playing against cookie using the same rules as the U24 world cup. I batted first and my innings just finished...

End of over 50 (5 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(272-5) RR 5.44
W. Deane 21 (22b) , A. Suriyaprakash 14 (11b) , D. Burton 10-2-43-1

Pretty happy with that score on a dry wicket. No standouts with the bat, Brayshaw and Deem top scored with 54 apiece, and everyone else made a solid contribution. Hopefully I can defend this, but not sure of cookies batting strength so will be interesting...
