They were both aggressive, so I guess that's why...

It IS a flat track though...

But they are outstanding/exp and exp/exp...

I thought stats like that stood for something!

Caban seems to be my best bat... He was 81no yesterday in the friendly and he was on defensive, so I thought I'd chuck him on defensive again (batting at no.5) and he's 11 off 15 balls at the moment....

STRANGE THING is: He's ord/avg  Therefore he should be crap  ???

AFEV

Ah OK I generally go with a maximum of 1 bat on A even for a flat track, I rarely have anyone on A though...Different dtory for bowling but with batting I just don't like it X_X

Yeah I've been doing my two good bats on A and then a few on defensive...

And both my good bowlers on A, unless they're bowling in the last 10...

Caban has really dug in and is still whacking out some runs... He's 18 off 22. I like this bloke! Shame he'll never really be a star.

EDIT: At least I'm going better than this guy (who I play in the last league match of the year)

Yep hopefully you can beat him :)

Yep hopefully you can beat him :)

Should be easy, he's bottom 2 going to get relegated...

He's only playing like the 4th/5th place side too lmao.

I won my T20 by 10 wickets, should be able to beat him by a similar margin...

I'm thinking I might open up like this: Phillip Caban on D, Rene Simon on A...

Therefore Simon is there to smash out the runs and Caban who's a gun can stick around for a while (like he always does) I'd then bring in Murugappa as 1st drop to smash out the runs once one of the other two get out.

If it is against the bot that might be OK. Make sure Muru is on N.

Why N? :( He's an Out/Expert gun! He loves being offensive :(

End of over 13 (6 runs) - The Nailers(55-4) RR 4.23
P. Caban 23 (31b) , D. Sidebottom 11 (21b) , R. Blundell 2-0-8-0

The boys have really dug in!

AFEV

Don't worry he will go a lot better on N. Batsmen score fastest when they are set (as in real life) and they are less likely to get set on A. So he might give you a quick 20-30 but nothing great.

Nails

What about T20? I'm guessing you want to use A a fair bit? Doesn't matter too much if they get set, it's all about quick runs!

AFEV

Perhaps. I still wouldn't go more than 2 on a batters pitch.
The in game T20 isn't quite the same as reali life

End of over 4 (3 runs) - Ahsen's Awesome XI(24-0). 15 runs required from 46 overs. RR 6.00 RRR 0.33

lol @ That match...

Man HOW IS CABAN SO GOOD? lol

He's only ord/avg He's 31 from 51 after 81 not out in a friendly... :D Love him!

That is the 50 partnership (52 runs, 84b, 5x4, 0x6) SR:61.90

I hope they at least get to 150-200 so I can see how Asif Ud-Din does on a flat pitch. I highly doubt I can defend it, but who knows he might have crap batters and great bowlers... Maddox/Asif might be able to pull off a miracle!

19.3   6   Butt to Caban : Caban has hit that into the rafters. On leg stump and he picks it up and deposits it into row Z.

I was like :D :D :D :D :D CABANNNNNNN

Then I went on to read:

19.5   W   Butt to Caban : That's the spot to bowl, and he's got his reward. Niggling line just outside off stump, Caban fends at it and is caught behind.
P. Caban c H. Sanders b. M. Butt 38 (60b 4x4 1x6) SR:63.33

lost two wickets in the space of 4 balls (including French my best bat for 7) but still going along okay

21.6   W   Tooley to Sidebottom : Charges down the track and sends this one high up into the sky. Donaghy settles under it at long on and takes a comfortable catch.
D. Sidebottom c L. Donaghy b. E. Tooley 22 (39b 1x4 0x6) SR:56.41

That's alright boss, 22 when the openers combined for less. Appreciate your efforts!

Will struggle for 120 now  ::)

    End of over 33 (5 runs) - The Nailers(126-9) RR 3.82
A. Ud-Din 4 (5b) , B. Maddox 1 (2b) , A. Moiz 7-0-29-4

Made 120 :) Hopefully it means I can see a couple overs from Ud-Din

They dropped Ud-Din and they've put on 11 runs and counting since :D

38.3   2   Moiz to Maddox : [dropped] Oh dear. Maddox has sent the ball high into the air. Tooley positions himself under it and... oh no, he's dropped it! Let me tell you, if looks could kill, Moiz would be on trial right now...

Put on 15 runs since Ud-Din was dropped, and with that 2, 17 since Ud-Din was dropped, and 2 from Maddox being dropped :)

Handy tenth wicket partnership, they've racked up a total of 28 runs so far.
