You get more sponsorship my going up in leauges. And no you can't schedule more league games, you play one youth game, one T20 and one SOD match a week. The only way to change leagues is to promote or relegate in the league you are already in. Unless you request to change country...

Is there any advantage for playing friendlies? Experience etc. ?

I'll go read the rules sometime tonight haha.

roo boys!

Friendlies are really only just to test out orders and for bragging rights really :P

55k left is :-\. Guess the first few buys set you back alot :(. The players I put up then, don't go too hard unless you want to go in debt.

As others said, only way to get money is through sponsorship (depending on your division) and from gate receipts from games.

Okay, last night.

Was a pretty poor batting performance. Harrison the only good score with 77. Cullen tried and finished with 49, but not much else really.

End of over 50 (7 runs) - Roo Boys!(238-9) RR 4.76
A. Teakles 1 (7b), T. Stevenson 9 (12b) , K. Docherty 10-0-51-0

Was a hard pitch, so well and truly game on.

Stevenson got a wicket in his 1st and 5th overs, leaving them like this at the 10 over mark:
End of over 10 (6 runs) - MECC(44-2). 195 runs required from 40 overs. RR 4.40 RRR 4.88
D. Craig 19 (38b), H. Simpson 5 (2b) , T. Stevenson 5-0-23-2

Teakles and Feeqa struggled in the second block. Leaving them in a pretty good position after 20 overs.

End of over 20 (4 runs) - MECC(84-2). 155 runs required from 30 overs. RR 4.20 RRR 5.17
D. Craig 32 (65b), H. Simpson 25 (35b) , A. Teakles 5-0-24-0

Stevenson and Chiba got spanked around a bit, they were well on top after 30:
End of over 30 (2 runs) - MECC(145-2). 94 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.83 RRR 4.70
D. Craig 62 (93b), H. Simpson 55 (67b) , T. Stevenson 10-1-50-2

Feeqa got a wicket in the next 5 overs, and Teakles picked up 2. But at the 40 over mark, they were cruising.
End of over 40 (1 run) - MECC(188-5). 51 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.70 RRR 5.10
M. McIntyre 18 (20b), R. Majoribanks 1 (2b) , A. Teakles 10-0-36-2

Enter Nic Leach, A.K.A "You Flowering Legend"

First ball of the spell:
40.1   W   Nic Leach to Majoribanks : Nic Leach bowls a full in-swinging delivery and Majoribanks is out LBW. The umpire didn't hesitate with that decision, and his finger was up quicker than a bloke on Viagra!
R. Majoribanks lbw b. O. Nic Leach 1 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:33.33

Bang.

Followed by a dot ball, no ball, dot ball, no ball, then on the 4th ball:
40.4   W   Nic Leach to Crawford : Crawford done in by a full toss! He plays it early and lobs back the ball to Nic Leach who accepts it gleefully.
P. Crawford c & b. O. Nic Leach 0 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

Then another dot ball.

Then on the last ball of the over:
40.6   W   Nic Leach to Henderson : That's risky...and fatal! Henderson offered no shot to a ball which came back into him, and it was a formality for the umpire to send him on his way.
S. Henderson lbw b. O. Nic Leach 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

So Nic Leach just pulled out a triple wicket over, to put me well on top.
End of over 41 (2 runs) - MECC(190-8). 49 runs required from 9 overs. RR 4.63 RRR 5.44
K. Docherty 0 (0b), M. McIntyre 18 (20b) , O. Nic Leach 6-0-20-3

Chiba went for 5 off the next over, then Nic Leach came back on in the hope of finishing them.

Sure enough, first ball of the new over:
42.1   W   Nic Leach to McIntyre : A straight ball hits him in line, the finger is slowly raised.
M. McIntyre lbw b. O. Nic Leach 22 (25b 1x4 1x6) SR:88.00

Two dot balls.

42.4   W   Nic Leach to Gibson : [catch] Stevenson might have taken some grief for eating all the pies, but a nice soft stomach was needed to help cushion the shot giving enough time for him to claim the catch.
M. Gibson c T. Stevenson b. O. Nic Leach 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

That is 5 wickets for Nic Leach!

End of over 43 (maiden) - MECC(195-10). 44 runs required from 7 overs. RR 4.53 RRR 6.29
K. Docherty 1 (2b), O. Nic Leach 6.4-0-20-5

Roo Boys! won by 43 runs

So, Nic Leach came on and took a game winning 5/2 off 10 balls :D
