I played Go Saints in my SOD match last night. Needed a win to gain promotion to Div 3, otherwise it would come down to the match I had against ML in a couple of weeks.

I had to play one 19yo batsman as I sold Rethans earlier in the week. The match was on a Green pitch.

Bought him but found he he didn't really fit into my long term plans. And if he can be useful elsewhere, may as well sell him to see the best of him 8). Same happened with Heffernan and Manou (Both playing with Daz as they didn't play to their potential for me due to others ahead of them).

Ran away with it to win by 75 runs in the end. Was really going bad at one stage at 6/112 but Wright and Sangster got together and dragged us up to 250. Wright made 85, Sangster an unbeaten 53. Everyone got amongst the wickets, Mabothe and Roberts took 3 apiece as we cruised in. 2 games clear on top now. Promotion virtually confirmed.

Finance updates occur on Monday, which is when you get sponsor money. The only other way to make money is by selling players or income from league matches
