End of over 37 (maiden) - Angelic Upstarts(142-4). 54 runs required from 13 overs. RR 3.84 RRR 4.15
C. Shirishkumar 32 (58b) , J. Cummins 19 (29b) , P. Jackson 9-1-23-1

Inability to take wickets has cost me.

37.1   .   Vint to Cummins : [dropped] A much quicker delivery from Vint, which catches Cummins by surprise, making him spoon it straight back to the bowler... but wait! Vint trips, the ball slipping through his fingers, and that goes down as a drop!

Vint, you dropped him, I'll be dropping you.

End of over 38 (9 runs) - Angelic Upstarts(151-4). 45 runs required from 12 overs. RR 3.97 RRR 3.75
C. Shirishkumar 37 (61b) , J. Cummins 23 (32b) , G. Vint 9-1-34-1

OK. So Graeme, you don't like to play cricket? I won't sel you either, I'll fire you you ...

38.4   W   Jackson to Cummins : Gone! Clean bowled. Full toss from Jackson and Cummins had no idea how to play that.
J. Cummins b. P. Jackson 23 (36b 1x4 0x6) SR:63.89

Breakthrough I needed :D

Humid/Crumbling, the barbie gave me a bit of a scare.

roo boys!

Won quite easily in the end, was a very good bowling performance, everyone picked up 2 wickets except for Feeqa, which is strange becaue he is my gun medium on a green pitch :-\

Playing Zuma over Teakles (Reli summary over Outs) because of the pitch was always going to drag ratings down.

Fletch74

RB, the Pitch doesn't drag ratings down, it just drags performance down based on what type of player you have. If you have a fully rested team play on a Green/Crumbling pitch, they will rate the same...

Awesome ratings Shaggy ;)

CrowsFan

I think what he meant fletch was that he plauyed Zuma of Teakles because of the pitch. And because he was playing the weaker player his ratings were going to drop

chrisuzz

Suprisingly won by 2 runs! :D. Managed 202 on the dry which I knew probably wouldn't be enough. AFter 30 overs Doug only needed 42 from 20 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Somehow he collapsed by the 44th over for 200.

96 run win over CF in the end. My boys needed the kick up their arse over last week. Mabothe took 5/25 from his ten overs. Ryan carried the innings with 70. Once Mabothe had 3/22 in the 9th it was basically game over. Roberts just finished the job in the 43rd.

MajorLazer

Thanks BP and Alex ;). Would've kept him, but barely playing him.

http://www.fromthepavilion.org/player.htm?playerId=686941 - Worth the 15k I spent on him?

On Batting and then onto Bowling/Tech for the next 2-3 seasons. Something to build upon considering a lack of talent in my team.

CrowsFan

Not bad HP. I have a similar player. He is ord/ord/ avg for bat/bowl/tech. He is a FM with swing talent so working on the bowling up to reas/reas then will raise the batting a level then back to bowling is the plan :)
Cost me twice as much as your guy though cos I got him earlier in the season and so should be close to some pops soon :)
