23.1   W   Josephs to Temiz : [catch] Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Temiz makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up to mid-on.
K. Temiz c P. Arnold b. C. Josephs 69 (68b 6x4 1x6) SR:101.47

Not what I wanted :(
Then 2 balls later...
23.3   W   Josephs to Wilkinson : A straight ball hits him in line, the finger is slowly raised.
J. Wilkinson lbw b. C. Josephs 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

He has not been in the best of form lately...
Down to my keeper now, and then rubbish bowlers after that...

End of over 27 (2 runs) - Hillly's Heroics(102-3). 130 runs required from 13 overs. RR 3.78 RRR 10.00
G. Sincock 22 (29b) , E. Wight 11 (19b) , P. Tait 6-0-19-0

Not getting wickets but at the same time I'm not needing to.

I split the 5th bowler spell tonight between Reid and Cillian Lynch. Reid finished with 0/12 off his four. Cillian 2/6

BratPack

End of over 31 (2 runs) - Hillly's Heroics(116-5). 116 runs required from 9 overs. RR 3.74 RRR 12.89
B. Moore 0 (1b) , G. Sincock 28 (38b) , P. Tait 8-0-26-2

Wickets are starting to come now. Tait's taken 2. Now Strydom and BOOOOOOOOOB! need to bring it home

End of over 32 (10 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(180-4). 35 runs required from 8 overs. RR 5.62 RRR 4.38
K. Argal 17 (20b) , R. Donfeld 70 (86b) , M. Batty 8-1-28-1

20 runs from the last 2 overs always helpful :)

Strange...Playing Cillian over Boyle actually brought my rating down from my league game  :-\

CrowsFan

So needed 5 runs to win from 4 overs. Hit a 6 off the next ball to win  :D
Won by 5 wickets as Argal got out late on.

3. Robert Donfeld (mine) - 94 not out from 100 balls
2. Padman Arnold  (ZZ's) - 86 from 103 balls and a catch

Out rated ZZ by just 85!! Could it be any closer? Only sectors I actually beat him in though were the tail batting and fielding though.

Good game ZZ, you could say a bit unlucky, but that does make it 2 youth wins from 2 youth games, proving I am the superior side ;)

Well I am not entirely sure if I will do it but I think having an U23 team (with maybe 1 or 2 exceptions) wold allow me to experiment with orders more and gain a better understanding of the game. The young guys would be able to build their exp up and I would probably earn a fair bit of cash early on as well.

Just an idea I have a season to think about it :P
Not 100% sure, but I thought that when you changed countries you get put in the lowest divisions. If this is true then your sponsorship, gate takings and experience levels will be lower (experience rises slower in lower divisions). This would defeat the purpose of moving IMO.
True, they are all lowered. But I think that Rob worked out that every time a guy plays 6 games in Div 5+ it would be the equivalent of 5 in Div 1. Seeing as these guys are getting no game time for me this year, I am pretty sure they would be better off.
As for sponsorship etc. falling I can deal with that, wages should drop by a good 60k, if not more.

As I said the main thing would be that I'd get experience as a manager. Selling all my oldies would hopefully give me enough money to pick up some gun 20-23 y.o players that I can develop. Like Junior/Shagmeister.

This is the perfect example of a player I will be chasing.
Outs/outs 22 y.o finger spinner ave exp, it can be built up. He can't bat but with the new rule that might be OK. I have 75k, I'll chase him with every cent I have.
