I will probably op it up to reliable maybe accomplished but the thing is he will always be batting at 7 because he is always going to be behind Collins :P
Depends, if I take him to reliable and Jackson to capable my batting would be awesome :O
But I will probably run out of time :P

But yeah bowling comes first I am hoping for him to make it to accom/exp or exp/outs before he works on batting.

CrowsFan

Yeah nice job then alex. Looks like he will be a good player for you :) although you would hope so considering you spent almost 100k on him!!!

Alex7089

Yep, overpay, but I got attached to him and I just kept bidding :P
I don't mind he should easily be a 10 season player for me :)

8-6 Suited

BOOMZ I think GS needs a game mate, not sure. But he hasnt been around much lately.

Would've been good but just organised one with HP...

End of over 20 (5 runs) - Gilchrists XI(96-5). 262 runs required from 20 overs. RR 4.80 RRR 13.10
O. Chisoni 4 (4b) , B. Torres 4 (5b) , W. Nevill 6-0-33-2

Doing very nicely here. And the guy sitting in 3rd spot is 4 for 86 requiring 140 from the last 20. Hopefully this will be enough for me to go above him on NRR :)

Justin Bieber

Looks like it's in the bag CF 8).

Looking forward to it BOOMZ although my batting better not fail again ::).

Scored a 218 on a slow with 2 of my 19 y.o bats taking a rest. My middle order was quite weak though. However, got about 2 players from each section scoring 20+ runs (Scott and Casper were AWESOME in the end!!). Bowling was spot on bowling them out for 63 with Casper with 4 8). Anderson with 5 catches is playing for his senior career literally!

Hello The Latex Salesmen
Batting - Top Order: 5,785 3,475

Should be a good match :) Have only ever beat u once hopefully that changes :P

If you remember earlier in the season I went a bit LOCO about losing a Youth match beside out ranking my opponent massively. I even posted in the FTP forum about it and accepted the retort offered.
Today was the return bout v the same opponent and I felt Uber confident going in having topped 71k rating.

I lost again, outranking him this time by only 7k and in most categories. I believe it was because he mainly employed a defensive bowling strategy.

FMFTP!

That's unfortunate Roost. :(

I'm playing Fletch, but not sure if he went full strength as I went without orders. :P

End of over 24 (5 runs) - Fletch's No Balls(110-3). 84 runs required from 16 overs. RR 4.58 RRR 5.25
G. Dean 41 (56b) , R. Browning 5 (11b) , M. Muir 8-0-25-1

On a slow and it's bloody close.

CrowsFan

Nice work HP. Casper the gun!!

Unlucky roost, but if you remember the next week you then played me in a youth friendly and I out rated you by 10k yet you won. I'm willing to bet you have also won other matches when you are heavily outrated and didn't think you would win (I know I have). Because after all if the game was just based solely on stats there would be no point playing the actual games. Needs to be a bit of randomness to it ;)
Where are you going to end up in your youth league? I hope those 2 results don't get you relegated or just miss out on promotion!

McRooster

If I won today I would've finished 2nd, sadly it looks like I will finish 3rd.
Tiz ok as my overall Youth rank this season has been far in front of where I'd hoped for EOS.

SOD and T20 will both see promotion as I will win both leagues - undefated in T20 and only one loss in SOD 8)

I do enjoy the randomness of this sport/game - hey look at Canada and Ireland in the World Cup!

Oh that's unlucky roost. You'll get em next season ;)

End of over 31 (3 runs) - Gilchrists XI(135-5). 223 runs required from 9 overs. RR 4.35 RRR 24.78
B. Torres 21 (41b) , O. Chisoni 25 (35b) , J. Mathers 8-0-14-0

I just can't seem to get these guys out. Really annoying!! Mathers very economical though :)

31.4   W   Wood to Chisoni : Huge lbw appeal by Wood... and up goes the finger! Chisoni is shaking his head in disagreement, but the umpire continues to give him the finger and insists he take a walk.
O. Chisoni lbw b. V. Wood 26 (38b 2x4 0x6) SR:68.42

Oh there we go :)

The Matchbox Matadors won by 203 runs  ;D
Picked up the final 5 wickets in 6 overs to bowl them out for 154 from 36.4 overs. Great work by most of the bowlers, Davison getting 4 for 30 from 6, Maloney 3 for 24 from 6.4 and Nevill 2 for 44 from 8. But the standout in today's match was 16 year old young gun Stroetinga who lasted all 40 overs finishing not out on 175 from 120 balls (faced exactly half the innings).

Man of the Match:
3: Koen Stroetinga (was there any doubt?)
2: Stork Davison
1: Gary Melton (82 from 70 balls and a catch)

Getting ever closer to the 80k mark...

CrowsFan

Yes with this result I have now moved up in to 3rd place since the guy who was third lost.
This means with 1 game to go we are both equal on 36 points but my NRR is 1.8064 and his is 1.4710. I am playing the unbeaten team next round so will lose, but he is playing the second placed team so will also lose. Hopefully I don't get absolutely smashed so that my NRR becomes smaller than his...
