Ritula seems to have found his niche for Daz now that he's gotten rid of That Flowering Cow who scored two centuries against me (Masood)

Alex7089

21.5   W   Junior to Walsh : [catch] Short of a good length delivery on the middle and leg stump line. Walsh looks to work it away through mid-wicket but fails to keep it down and the strategically placed Srimal at short mid-wicket holds on well to a fairly hard chance.
F. Walsh c K. Srimal b. S. Junior 43 (73b 3x4 1x6) SR:58.90

YES! Needed that one, Walsh just hit Junior for 2 boundaries, one was a misfield.

22.1   W   Jackson to Crook : [catch] Wider ball that no one expected to be hit, but a rash swing from Crook draws the thick edge to Junior at gully.
F. Crook c S. Junior b. P. Jackson 13 (25b 0x4 0x6) SR:52.00

Happy to see him go for not much.

End of over 25 (6 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(95-3) RR 3.80
T. Bryant 6 (11b) , J. Vidur 0 (7b) , P. Jackson 3-1-7-1

27.1   W   Junior to Bryant : On the back foot, Bryant pokes at the ball outside off stump. Out, and I doubt we'll see a worse shot than that today.
T. Bryant c A. Collins b. S. Junior 16 (17b 1x4 0x6) SR:94.12

Good, he is out. Now I need Vidur & Manou and things are looking good.

34.2   W   Ramiah to Vidur : [catch] Charges down the track and sends this one high up into the sky. Srimal settles under it at long on and takes a comfortable catch.
J. Vidur c K. Srimal b. G. Ramiah 20 (33b 1x4 1x6) SR:60.61

Got Vidur. Now I just need Manou.

35.1   W   Jackson to Saitoti : [catch] Regulation catch for Yavar at first slip - a straight one from Jackson but Saitoti has played the wrong line and got the nick.
D. Saitoti c B. Yavar b. P. Jackson 1 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

Meh, I'll take it.

36.4   W   Ramiah to Anderson : Shagmeister and Ramiah are vigorously appealing for a bat pad catch. The finger goes up, and Anderson is walking.
E. Anderson c W. Shagmeister b. G. Ramiah 1 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:14.29

A chance to bowl Daz out. C'mon.

Fletch74

CF and I are playing a Youth Friendly today that we had been organising for sometime.

CF was batting on a Crumbling wicket.

End of over 37 (3 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(149-10) RR 4.03
J. Mathers 2 (5b) , K. Masinga 7-0-31-7

This was the last over from Masinga

36.6 W Masinga to Maloney : Missing off, missing leg, hitting middle halfway up.
R. Maloney lbw b. K. Masinga 2 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:100.00

36.5 2 Masinga to Maloney : Runs here for Maloney. Ball was just back of a length and he's latched onto it, sending it through the midwicket region. Midwicket is deep and so the batsmen pick up 2.

36.4 W Masinga to Nevill : Yorked him! Great delivery. Nevill had backed away to make room, but cannot make contact and leg stump is uprooted!
W. Nevill b. K. Masinga 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

That is 5 wickets for Masinga!

36.3 W Masinga to Davison : Slightly short and coming in with the angle, too good a delivery for Davison, who fails to get bat on ball and is caught plumb in front of the stumps.
S. Davison lbw b. K. Masinga 6 (7b 0x4 0x6) SR:85.71

36.2 1 Masinga to Mathers : Slashed through point. Third man does well to come around and cut it off. Keeps them to 1.

36.1 . Masinga to Mathers : Short of a length from Masinga and Mathers blocks it back to him comfortably.

Awesome stuff from Masinga ;D He's an 18yo cap/reas in accomplished form :)

Should be able to chase 150.

40.2   W   Pritchard to Ilango : Bowled him! A lone spectator in the crowd looks particularly upset at the outcome of that delivery. I can see a book in his hand that may lend a clue to his identity, "History's Greatest Shaftings".....
S. Ilango b. M. Pritchard 6 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR:60.00

Pritchard strikes again, he has been a huge problem for Daz.

40.5   W   Pritchard to De Blaauw : Pritchard's castled him!!! What a peach of a delivery. That's the sort of dismissal you cherish as a bowler. Good length and the ball seams in after pitching, leaving De Blaauw for dead and the ball takes out middle stump. Well bowled son!
L. De Blaauw b. M. Pritchard 0 (3b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

Pritchard :-*
40.6   1   Pritchard to Taufel : [dropped] That was really a half chance, but good teams take those. Taufel chips down the track and tries to take Pritchard downtown over long-off boundary but succeeds only in lofting him high in the air. Shagmeister running back from mid-off had it covered well but drops it after doing all the hard work in reaching it.

Not only did you deny him a 4th wicket, you denied him a triple wicket maiden >:(

   End of over 42 (2 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(157-9) RR 3.74
E. Taufel 3 (7b) , D. Manou 19 (41b) , G. Ramiah 6-1-16-2

Could have avoided all of it ::)

End of over 43 (6 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(163-9) RR 3.79
E. Taufel 4 (9b) , D. Manou 23 (46b) , M. Pritchard 7-0-15-3

How is Taufel doing this. He is an atrocious batsman :P

Alex7089

   End of over 45 (2 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(166-9) RR 3.69
E. Taufel 4 (10b) , D. Manou 25 (57b) , M. Pritchard 8-0-17-3

This partnership is annoying me, although I must admit Manou is doing a very good job of farming the strike.

   End of over 46 (7 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(173-9) RR 3.76
E. Taufel 5 (12b) , D. Manou 31 (61b) , G. Ramiah 8-1-24-2

Yeah I am selling you Ramiah :P

End of over 47 (5 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(178-9) RR 3.79
E. Taufel 8 (14b) , D. Manou 33 (65b) , M. Pritchard 9-0-22-3

Oh, FFS, Sodumo (also an atroc/exp batsman) has never made a run in SOD or T20. How is Taufel doing this to me :'(

End of over 48 (3 runs) - DazBurg's Greatness(181-9) RR 3.77
E. Taufel 8 (15b) , D. Manou 36 (70b) , G. Ramiah 9-1-27-2

3rd highest partnership in the innings, behind the first 2.

8-6 Suited

So anyone that needs a fast bowler want Kennedy Permaul? look at his League/Cup stats, they are pretty damn good. And he is cheap at 40k.

Alex7089

I can't believe there was a 10th wicket partnership of 40. On a dry wicket. Didn't even get the wicket o.O

Alex7089

15.4   W   De Blaauw to Vincent : When playing a forward defensive, it's important to keep the bat and pad together as they say. Well... they should definitely say to Vincent, schoolboy error and the stumps are re-arranged.
D. Vincent b. L. De Blaauw 39 (44b 3x4 1x6) SR:88.64

Not happy. 3 dots followed by that? Come one Darren.

End of over 16 (4 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(93-2). 102 runs required from 34 overs. RR 5.81 RRR 3.00
W. Shagmeister 4 (2b) , T. Jackman 36 (42b) , L. De Blaauw 3-0-9-1
Jackman is playing well again. His last 3 efforts for me - 155, 80* then this. Another 50 here would just be...

EDIT: 16.2   W   Saitoti to Jackman : Short ball, and hooked straight down the throat of the man in the deep! Out!
T. Jackman c F. Walsh b. D. Saitoti 36 (44b 2x4 2x6) SR:81.82

OH FFS. Why do I even speak?

Shagmeister needs to be the man now.

I really need to stop commenting on my players it is not the first time that has happened >:(

The RR will just die now. Shagmeister who is typically quite defensive and Yavar, who is on (D) :(

Need to make sure I don't lose wickets.

End of over 18 (1 run) - Feeling Sheepish(94-3). 101 runs required from 32 overs. RR 5.22 RRR 3.16
W. Shagmeister 4 (6b) , B. Yavar 1 (6b) , L. De Blaauw 4-0-10-1

1 run in 2 overs >> Not good enough.

Fletch74

CF has me on the ropes in our Youth game :o Must say, I didn't expect this, but a Crumbler is not my type of wicket in Youth's...

End of over 30 (4 runs) - Fletch's No Balls(111-6). 39 runs required from 10 overs. RR 3.70 RRR 3.90
O. Murray 3 (4b) , T. Tozer 1 (5b) , J. Mathers 7-1-29-3

Into my bowlers already!!

Alex7089

Ouch Fletch :o
Are any of your bowlers decent batsmen?

End of over 20 (6 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(103-3). 92 runs required from 30 overs. RR 5.15 RRR 3.07
B. Yavar 9 (16b) , W. Shagmeister 5 (8b) , L. De Blaauw 5-0-16-1

This is frustrating, De Blaauw is OK but with his exp I didn't expect this o.O

Fletch74

One is an Ord batsmen, the other poor that are there ATM. Then poor, dread, and dread to finish off.

You look safe, although anything is possible with Daz!

Alex7089

It surely is!
End of over 21 (11 runs) - Feeling Sheepish(114-3). 81 runs required from 29 overs. RR 5.43 RRR 2.79
B. Yavar 13 (18b) , W. Shagmeister 12 (12b) , D. Saitoti 6-1-31-1
More overs like that would be handy :P

They are pretty good for youths so I reckon it will come down to the wire, a win for you though...Just :P

Fletch74

Well this is the last update.

End of over 33 (1 run) - Fletch's No Balls(121-6). 29 runs required from 7 overs. RR 3.67 RRR 4.14
T. Tozer 9 (17b) , O. Murray 5 (10b) , R. Maloney 5-0-18-0

Haven't lost a wicket, but my RRR is creeping up.
