8-6 Suited

Well, basically as expect with my youths since I was out-rated, lost again. :D Took them 38 overs to do it though.

Won with 3.2 overs to go so did it pretty comfortably. Temiz lead the batting with a solid 71 from 72 balls and was backed up by Melton, Stroetinga and Argal who all got in to the 30's. Maloney was my best bowler picking up 4 for 43. This win moves me on to equal points with third (who I just beat), but unsure if I will go ahead yet due to the NRR

DazBurg

DazBurg's Greatness won by 248 runs

N.E.F.U Saints    DazBurg's Greatness

unlucky for the heff though he went out on 99 :(

Happy for the win. I was not batting well at first, but my tail helped me to 181 on an Uneven pitch.

Man of the match: Keith Masinga (3 points), Pina Shrath (2), Hameedullah Ali (1)

Still half a game on top, but playing the team who is second next week to decide who wins this league :D

Just started a youth friendly against Cic on a sticky pitch and it is overcast.
I lost the toss so am batting first, but off to a good start :)

End of over 2 (4 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(12-0) RR 6.00
K. Stroetinga 1 (4b) , G. Melton 8 (8b) , N. Anderson 1-0-1-0

ive pulled the RR back but need to take wickets now

14.1   W   Treacy to Melton : Melton didn't seem to pick up the slower ball and played right over the top of it.
G. Melton b. P. Treacy 24 (45b 3x4 0x6) SR:53.33

:)

14.2   .   Treacy to Temiz : Loud shout for lbw. Treacy pitches the ball on a good length outside off stump. Temiz moves his front foot outside the line of off stump and offers no shot. He gets hit on the front pad but the umpire's finger remains down, and rightly so. Replays show that the ball wasn't coming back enough to hit the stumps. Good decision.

14.6   2   Treacy to Stroetinga : [dropped] Hit firmly in the air back at the bowler, who only manages to fling out a hand and take some pace off the ball.

15.4   1   James to Temiz : Slower ball from James. Temiz misjudges it and spoons the drive up in the air, but it falls just short of O'Hanlon at long off.

15.6   1   James to Stroetinga : Edged just wide of Moritz at slip! Third man comes around as the batsmen amble through for a single.

all of these chances since the first wicket  :'(

17.2   W   Treacy to Stroetinga : [catch] It's up! Anderson is coming round quickly for it... and takes the catch! Rash thinking and a bit of premeditation from Stroetinga has him on the way back to the pavilion.
K. Stroetinga c N. Anderson b. P. Treacy 30 (48b 2x4 0x6) SR:62.50

WRONG GUY  :'(

Moritz to Wilkinson : [Slower Ball] Wilkinson doesn't read that delivery. He plays too early and it ends up in the hands of O'Hanlon at mid-on.
J. Wilkinson c R. O'Hanlon b. J. Moritz 8 (5b 0x4 1x6) SR:160.00

I CAN"T GET TEMIZ OUT!!!!!!!!!

8-6 Suited

My game against R&B starts in 45 minutes... As does GS' against Barlow.

Can I continue my winning streak against R&B? That is the question I will be eagerly watching and waiting for that answer.

And can GS' continue his FF member dominance? Time will tell.

27.1   W   Borwick to Argal : [catch] Argal has come down the track and tried to hoist that over long on's head, but instead it has gone straight up! Alley has called for it and takes the catch with ease.
K. Argal c A. Alley b. H. Borwick 13 (24b 2x4 0x6) SR:54.17

ARRRGGGHHH I cannot let Temiz carry his bat >:(

Anderson to Wood : [dropped] An edge, but Campbell's poor footwork means he's not in a position to hold the catch. Anderson is livid. AND SO AM I  >:(

29.6   W   Borwick to Temiz : [catch] Borwick released the ball with a horizontal seam, causing it to leap up and Temiz was unable to keep his shot down. The ball flew straight to Anderson at mid on who holds on to the catch.
K. Temiz c N. Anderson b. H. Borwick 26 (46b 2x4 0x6) SR:56.52

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES COME ON  :D

You are doing very well cic.

End of over 31 (1 run) - The Matchbox Matadors(124-6) RR 4.00
S. Davison 0 (3b) , V. Wood 6 (10b) , N. Anderson 8-0-22-0

Very disappointed with Wilkinson, who usually does very well if wickets have been lost early...

Cicjose

Borwick and Anderson have done the job in the middle overs very well :)

8-6 Suited

Naved has called heads correctly and has decided to bowl. Tickle My Timber will start their innings shortly.

Being on a dry pitch.... And batting first... I lose. lol

GS v Barlow

Files has called heads correctly and has decided to bat. Golden C will start their innings shortly.

Slow pitch... Should see a strong performance by the outstanding spin attack that GS has.

CrowsFan

Well put up a pretty respectable target on a sticky wicket :)

End of over 40 (7 runs) - The Matchbox Matadors(193-8) RR 4.82
W. Nevill 10 (6b) , J. Mathers 20 (18b) , J. Moritz 8-0-55-3

Hopefully I can defend that

I'm going alright I guess, but need to score a little faster and a hell of a lot more.

End of over 6 (4 runs) - Tickle My Timber(28-1) RR 4.67
H. Ingall 10 (15b) , J. Hogan 14 (14b) , T. Stevenson 3-0-22-1

GS is holding things very tight against Barlow.

End of over 6 (4 runs) - Golden C(20-1) RR 3.33
S. Ramsamooj 8 (17b) , D. Sweeney 0 (0b) , A. Kansal 3-0-9-0

A 15 over mark update for the 2 games I am following which are:

Roo Boys! vs Tickle My Timber

Shaggy Chiba just remembered who he was named after, and dropped a sitter to allow Hogan to continue on his merry way. He has however been very successful in bowling very tight and tidy overs.

End of over 15 (2 runs) - Tickle My Timber(58-1) RR 3.87
J. Hogan 26 (45b) , H. Ingall 26 (40b) , R. Ali 3-1-7-0

Golden C vs Frankston XI (Barlow 21 vs GoSaints)

The second that the 2 spinners in McBourne and Dhanraj came on, the game was totally blown apart. McBourne picked up 2 wickets in 2 overs and Dhanraj got one. Barlow looks to be in a bit of trouble.

   End of over 15 (2 runs) - Golden C(58-4) RR 3.87
S. Ramsamooj 22 (46b) , J. Files 6 (6b) , S. McBourne 3-1-9-2
