Nice one 8).

Got lucky here:
Calver to McFarlane : Huge appeal for LBW, not given. And they've run through for a legbye! Sneaky stuff from McFarlane.

    End of over 15 (maiden) - .......(68-0) RR 4.53
T. Mayne 33 (46b) , B. McFarlane 27 (47b) , D. Rahmann 3-1-13-0
14.6   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Wonderful line and length from Rahmann. The ball has hit the seam and whistled past Mayne's edge. Mayne comes down the pitch and prods the uneven area down and takes guard once again.
14.5   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Superb bowling from Rahmann. He had the batsmen in two minds there. Luckily for Mayne it misses the off stump by a whisker and passes safely through to Heffernan.
14.4   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Mayne is beaten all ends up there, but the ball somehow misses bat, pad and stumps and goes harmlessly through to Heffernan. Mayne smiles sheepishly at Rahmann and inspects his bat for defects.
14.3   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Mayne gets on top of the bounce and crashes the ball out towards point. Sadly all style and not enough substance on that occasion.
14.2   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Short in length and coming in slightly, Mayne shoulders arms, through to Heffernan.
14.1   .   Rahmann to Mayne : Tries to be too clever, the ball angles into him and he tries the cutesy dab to third man, but doesn't make contact.

woooohoooo check that got a maiden against HP

Alex7089

Robinson to Janssen : That was a close shave. The ball pitched on a perfect line and length and jagged back in off the seam. Janssen elected to leave it, with the ball missing the stumps by mere inches.

Mere inches 'eh? Funny, I think missing the stump by inches is BAD!

Sorry Daz. Got to pop out for an hour or two.

I'll be back hopefully before the end of the match though. Maybe by the time my guys end batting :P.

noooooo calver getting slapped around

8-6 Suited

Its all about the set up...

17.4   W   Lidgerwood to Burke : An excellent delivery spins sharply. Burke playing from the crease pushes at the ball which goes through and strikes the stumps.
C. Burke b. P. Lidgerwood 33 (39b 2x4 0x6) SR:84.62
17.3   1   Lidgerwood to Baird : Driven to cover, the batsmen steal a quick single.
17.2   .   Lidgerwood to Baird : Boredom finally sets in and the Mexican wave has started in the boozy licensed section. It did quite well until it reached the members' stand, where they are too busy appreciating the cricket to continue the tomfoolery.
17.1   1   Lidgerwood to Burke : [dropped] Burke goes big but doesn't quite get onto it as he'd like. Gregory makes up some great ground and launches himself towards the ball. But the ball goes down, straight through Gregory's fingers. Though you've got to give him credit for such an effort.
