8.6   1   Yasir to McCarthy : Driven to cover, the batsmen steal a quick single.
8.5   .   Yasir to McCarthy : Bit wayward there from Yasir and McCarthy sensibly ignores it.
8.5   nb1   Yasir to Sreedevan : Too straight there from Yasir and Sreedevan flicks it off his pads for 1.
8.5   nb   Yasir to Sreedevan : Sreedevan gets well forward, no run.
8.4   2   Yasir to Sreedevan : Punched through the off side for 2.
8.3   1   Yasir to McCarthy : Belted back down the ground by McCarthy, Sreedevan dives out of the way and they pick up 1
8.3   nb   Yasir to McCarthy : Full and on the stumps. The bat gets behind the ball to block it away.
8.2   .   Yasir to McCarthy : Oooh... Yasir had McCarthy jumping around a bit there, nice and nippy off the wicket causing the ball to fly into McCarthy's ribs, only a desperate flick of the bat preventing the sound of ball on bone.
8.1   .   Yasir to McCarthy : Great stop from Scaife. I think Yasir owes him a beer. After the match of course.

Poor bowling there. :x

End of over 17 (7 runs) - Tickle My Timber(90-1) RR 5.29

A. Sreedevan 34 (57b) , J. McCarthy 72 (77b) , G. Scaife 1-0-8-0

Doesn't make sense to me that Sreedevan has only got 34 from 57 despite being on Aggressive... Yet McCarthy is close on SR and is only on Normal... Other than the fact he is my hero and absolute gun. :P

End of over 25 (11 runs) - Tickle My Timber(141-1) RR 5.64
J. McCarthy 84 (85b) , A. Sreedevan 42 (67b) , S. Yasir 8-1-47-1

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Looks like I may be posting a ripper total at this point on a Dry/Overcast.

Check this over out...

   End of over 33 (24 runs) - Tickle My Timber(204-1) RR 6.18
J. McCarthy 135 (118b) , A. Sreedevan 53 (83b) , M. Collins 7-0-50-0

32.6   4   Collins to McCarthy : Too full from Collins. McCarthy simply leans into it and punches the delivery to long on with exceptional timing.
32.5   6   Collins to McCarthy : Collins hasn't quite got that one right; he tried a slower, flighted delivery but it came out as an inviting full toss which gets the treatment.

32.4   2   Collins to McCarthy : McCarthy advances down the wicket and drives down the ground for 2.
32.3   .   Collins to McCarthy : Superb bowling from Collins. He had the batsmen in two minds there. Luckily for McCarthy it misses the off stump by a whisker and passes safely through to Akmal.
32.2   6   Collins to McCarthy : [Boundary Hitter] Drags it down and McCarthy rocks back to violently mow it over square leg and into the stands. Tremendous power, but an extremely average delivery.
32.1   6   Collins to McCarthy : Length ball from Collins, on off stump, but McCarthy is able to get underneath it and send it away towards the mid-wicket boundary, staying on one knee for the cameras. Great cricketing shot, showing that you don't need to slog the ball to get the maximum.

Cicjose

how can i get an over like that????

Have a gun like McCarthy, who statistically is fantastic in performance but his skills would surprise many.

I highlighted the important ones for you. :P Surprising, isn't it? :P Especially when you consider Im taking on exp/exp and outs/exp bowlers.

That is 150 runs for McCarthy (150 runs, 127b 11x4 6x6) SR:118.11

   End of over 36 (3 runs) - Tickle My Timber(230-1) RR 6.39
J. McCarthy 150 (128b) , A. Sreedevan 61 (92b) , F. Smith 8-1-42-0

Then his Outs/Exp fast bowler strikes... :(

37.2   W   Smith to McCarthy : A straight ball hits him in line, the finger is slowly raised.
J. McCarthy lbw b. F. Smith 150 (131b 11x4 6x6) SR:114.50
37.1   W   Smith to Sreedevan : [catch] Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, Sreedevan makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up towards mid-on.
A. Sreedevan c A. Sivaramakrishnan b. F. Smith 66 (97b 4x4 0x6) SR:68.04

Awwww... Now in comes Baker and Kaushik though so I'm not tooo unhappy. As long as they fire up and smack the crap out of it.

39.5   W   Smith to Kaushik : The stumps are demolished! Kaushik thrives on width, so it was good bowling by Smith to stick it in the blockhole.
K. Kaushik b. F. Smith 7 (10b 0x4 0x6) SR:70.00

Hmmm... Collapse.

   End of over 40 (5 runs) - Tickle My Timber(247-4) RR 6.18
J. Baker 4 (5b) , S. Phillips 1 (1b) , F. Smith 10-1-51-3

40.6   W   Scaife to Phillips : Phillips goes across the line and misses, Scaife appeals his heart out and the umpire just had to give that out. Hitting middle and off no doubt.
S. Phillips lbw b. G. Scaife 2 (4b 0x4 0x6) SR:50.00

   End of over 41 (4 runs) - Tickle My Timber(251-5) RR 6.12
P. Lidgerwood 0 (0b) , J. Baker 6 (8b) , G. Scaife 6-0-33-1

Yepppp. Like the London bridge, it's all falling down.

42.3   2   Scaife to Baker : [dropped] Baker goes big but doesn't quite get onto it as he'd like. Smith makes up some great ground and launches himself towards the ball. But the ball goes down, straight through Smith's fingers. Though you've got to give him credit for such an effort.

Thank god for that drop.

I am still aiming for around 300-310 finish with some luck... And looking good for it.

End of over 44 (11 runs) - Tickle My Timber(275-5) RR 6.25
P. Lidgerwood 13 (10b) , J. Baker 16 (16b) , M. Ahmed 7-0-46-0

Edit:

44.2   W   Scaife to Baker : [stumped] Brilliance from Scaife, and he fully deserves it too. Drags Baker down the wicket, beats him in flight, and Akmal stumps him with consummate ease.
J. Baker st U. Akmal b. G. Scaife 16 (18b 1x4 0x6) SR:88.89

Into my tail enders now. :< Gregory is now in and has Average batting I believe then the rest are dreadful or atrocious. :(

EDIT AGAIN!

44.3   W   Scaife to Gregory : Gregory has come down the track and tried to hoist that over long on's head, but instead it has gone straight up! Ahmed has called for it and takes the catch with ease.
G. Gregory c M. Ahmed b. G. Scaife 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

Goddamn it.

End of over 48 (12 runs) - Tickle My Timber(307-7) RR 6.40
B. Udana 11 (9b) , P. Lidgerwood 33 (23b) , M. Ahmed 9-0-68-0

Lead by Lidgerwood, he and Udana are killing it right now. :O

49.2   W   Ahmed to Lidgerwood : Well, now we know why Lidgerwood is never sent out as a runner!
P. Lidgerwood run out (S. Yasir) 37 (29b 5x4 0x6) SR:127.59

Lost Lidgerwood in the last over but it was batted out... THANKFULLY!

   End of over 50 (1 run) - Tickle My Timber(313-8) RR 6.26
B. Udana 12 (14b) , F. O'Neill 1 (1b) , M. Ahmed 10-0-69-0

Now lets see if my bowlers can step up and dominate.
