Submitted this piece of commentary-
Edge! Oh, put down by a diving {fi} at first slip. Meanwhile the umpire calls the police, {ba} is nicking everything!

Had 3 lines rejected and this one probably will be as well, but I will keep trying :P

NBB's are awesome, especially if they are Fast or Fast Medium's. :D

49.3   1   Permaul to Duperouzel : [dropped] Duperouzel attempts to flick a full length delivery off his pads and skies it to point. Baker was camped under the ball for an eternity but somehow has managed to grass it. Permaul is furious as the batsmen have crossed for a single.

The guy gets dropped for the 2nd time by Permaul's bowling. No wonder Permaul is pissed.

49.5   W   Permaul to Owen : Owen played down the wrong line to a ball angled into him. A sniff of swing as well and a raucous appeal as it hit him on the front foot. It was in line and hitting leg.
P. Owen lbw b. K. Permaul 14 (14b 0x4 0x6) SR:100.00

   End of over 50 (6 runs) - surgeon XI(301-8) RR 6.02
A. Angley 0 (1b) , M. Duperouzel 26 (22b) , K. Permaul 10-0-74-1

Chasing the total of 302 for the win. Will be interesting to see how close I get as a victory isn't expected.

I still have a line pending but it has been like that for weeks so I think they must have thought it was so
bad they didn't bother replying

Boomz

Theres 3 keepers all ending within 20 minutes of eachother tomorrow going to be hard to get one hopefully I can :D My youth match is pretty close atm but need some wickets.

End of over 1 (5 runs) - Tickle My Timber(5-0). 297 runs required from 49 overs. RR 5.00 RRR 6.06
K. Kaushik 0 (0b) , H. Morrison 5 (6b) , A. Angley 1-0-5-0

0.6   1   Angley to Morrison : And we're going upstairs. A flat throw from Richardson at point lands right over the stumps, and Randell smartly takes off the bails. Replays have shown that Kaushik was home by inches, not out.
0.5   .   Angley to Morrison : Morrison tries to penetrate the field with a drive but is unsuccessful in getting past a well set field.
0.4   .   Angley to Morrison : The ball is short and at the body. Morrison cannot move out of the line in time and takes a nasty blow to the shoulder. Coleman runs in from square leg and removes any thoughts the batsman may have had of taking a single.
0.3   .   Angley to Morrison : Good line and good length. Morrison gives it the respect it deserves and leaves it for the keeper.
0.2   4   Angley to Morrison : That ball was superbly timed through the covers by Morrison. Angley shakes his head in disgust as the delivery was not as bad as Morrison made it look.
0.1   .   Angley to Morrison : Angley exerts himself much more in this delivery, Morrison thrusts forward and gets beaten, quite close to the outside edge there

Morrison hogs the strike lol.

flower YOU KAUSHIK!!! IN THE ASSHOLE WITH A BIG GIANT CUCUMBER!!!

1.4   W   Savage to Kaushik : It's up! Barrett is coming round quickly for it... and takes the catch! Rash thinking and a bit of premeditation from Kaushik has him on the way back to the pavilion.
K. Kaushik c J. Barrett b. G. Savage 2 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:100.00

End of over 3 (6 runs) - Tickle My Timber(16-1). 286 runs required from 47 overs. RR 5.33 RRR 6.09
H. Morrison 11 (12b) , J. McCarthy 3 (4b) , A. Angley 2-0-11-0

End of over 12 (6 runs) - benjy251090(55-3). 108 runs required from 38 overs. RR 4.58 RRR 2.84
N. Freeman 1 (3b) , J. Swift 9 (6b) , A. Cowper 1-0-6-0

I'm happy, my 2 best bowlers playing today have picked up 3 wickets in 11 overs against a far better side than mine. My 18 year old NBB has 2 :)

You are doing fantastic Fletch.

Look at this massive over by McCarthy:

End of over 8 (20 runs) - Tickle My Timber(56-1). 246 runs required from 42 overs. RR 7.00 RRR 5.86
J. McCarthy 24 (23b) , H. Morrison 17 (24b) , G. Savage 4-0-26-1

7.6   6   Savage to McCarthy : [Boundary Hitter] Savage has given McCarthy a nice juicy full toss on middle stump and McCarthy has responded by disposing the ball for six over long on.

7.5   .   Savage to McCarthy : Lovely seaming delivery from Savage nearly draws McCarthy into the shot, but he pulls his bat inside the line and Randell takes it smartly. Enjoyable dot ball.
7.4   b4   Savage to McCarthy : That delivery is too good for the batsmen and too good for the keeper as well. The umpire does a little rain dance and signals 4 byes.

7.3   .   Savage to McCarthy : A puff of dust signals Savage's stock delivery going through the top and handcuffing McCarthy. The ball runs harmlessly away to short fine leg.
7.2   4   Savage to McCarthy : [misfield] I've seen steamrollers with better acceleration than Barrett there, 4 more runs.
7.1   6   Savage to McCarthy : Savage has given McCarthy a nice juicy full toss on middle stump and McCarthy has responded by disposing the ball for six over long on.

End of over 10 (maiden) - Tickle My Timber(64-1). 238 runs required from 40 overs. RR 6.40 RRR 5.95
J. McCarthy 31 (31b) , H. Morrison 18 (28b) , G. Savage 5-1-26-1

Didn't want to see any maidens any time soon.

11.5   W   Ridge to Morrison : [catch] Morrison drives at a wide ball, but only succeeds in giving an easy catch to Hogan at point.
H. Morrison c J. Hogan b. S. Ridge 22 (37b 2x4 0x6) SR:59.46

In comes Carson, who is new like Morrison. Lets see how he does.

End of over 12 (9 runs) - Tickle My Timber(75-2). 227 runs required from 38 overs. RR 6.25 RRR 5.97
O. Carson 0 (1b) , J. McCarthy 38 (33b) , S. Ridge 1-0-9-1

And out goes Carson. In comes Baker.

15.1   W   Ridge to Carson : [catch] Short of a good length delivery on the middle and leg stump line. Carson looks to work it away through mid-wicket but fails to keep it down and the strategically placed McLauchlan at short mid-wicket holds on well to a fairly hard chance.
O. Carson c R. McLauchlan b. S. Ridge 7 (10b 1x4 0x6) SR:70.00

End of over 15 (12 runs) - Tickle My Timber(99-2). 203 runs required from 35 overs. RR 6.60 RRR 5.80

So 99-3 now.
J. McCarthy 50 (43b) , O. Carson 7 (9b) , P. Owen 3-0-17-0

Need to build a nice partnership here now 8-6

As well as maintaining the run rate at the same time, its definately going to be a difficult task. Baker is also on Defensive. Phillips is on Aggressive and Lidgerwood follows him on Normal. Hopefully they aren't needed for a while.

End of over 17 (2 runs) - Tickle My Timber(102-3). 200 runs required from 33 overs. RR 6.00 RRR 6.06
J. McCarthy 51 (47b) , J. Baker 1 (8b) , P. Owen 4-0-19-0

End of over 20 (3 runs) - Tickle My Timber(115-3). 187 runs required from 30 overs. RR 5.75 RRR 6.23
J. Baker 6 (15b) , J. McCarthy 58 (59b) , S. Ridge 5-0-27-2

Slowed down a little bit since Baker got in. Hopefully however he digs in soon and manages to put some runs on with McCarthy. Last thing I want to do is have wickets in hand, but fall short of the target.

Fletch74

End of over 29 (2 runs) - benjy251090(163-4) RR 5.62
L. Hansberry 35 (41b) , J. Swift 53 (47b) , D. Amos 4.1-0-18-0

Chased down in 28.1 overs. I played a second fiddle side, but got to see some of my players, which I can now safely say I don't want or need anymore...

The drinks cart is now making its way onto the field.

End of over 25 (7 runs) - Tickle My Timber(138-3). 164 runs required from 25 overs. RR 5.52 RRR 6.56
J. Baker 23 (38b) , J. McCarthy 62 (66b) , M. Duperouzel 3-0-13-0

At drinks, in a relatively decent position. In comparison with my much stronger opposition

Him: 156/3   RR   6.24
Me: 138/3   RR   5.52

So only 18 runs behind at the half way point with the same amount of wickets down.
