I'm just wondering who to go with have pavlich at the moment as i think buddy gives away too many frees.

Whats your thoughts?

mEnty

Both guns.

Pav might start a touch slow this year and Im not so sold on getting him straight off the bat.

I think Buddy could be in for a huge year - he's my pick of the two.

go for pav doesnt give away as many frees as buddy does and pavs wya more consistent

XabiJay

Franklin is gonna have a huge year. He will only improve being so young and i think consistancy will be better. Plus better delivery

I now have neither...Their price will go down as forwards prices fluctuate

I am trying to get midfilders or small forwards into my forwardine that will pick up alot of possessions and score consistant poitns....

May prove to be a good move...may not

Time will, most certainly, tell

Pav is more consistent and less likely to drop in value. If you're set on those two, I would choose Pav off the bat and try to pick up Buddy at about $500k. But I agree with earlier posts that Pav may kick off slowly and may be overpriced at $593k. Just for the record, I'm not starting either player at those prices (but I do have more expensive players in other positions).

Marcus

Pavlich's price does not fluctuate. If you pick a forward. It's him.
Franklin is more inconsistent = more fluctuations. He also pisses me off with the FAs.

I also believe Pav is gonna have a slow start and buddy who knows what he will do so I've steered clear of both and gone with consistancy midfield/forward players. thanks for your thoughts guys.

Pav off to a slow start??? Pav is the gun forward in the comp. yea yea buddy is a freak especially considering he had over 200 scoring shots last year (thats bloody impressive!!).. not one of u blokes have said why pav will have a slow start???  he had a few niggles last year and has shed off a bit of size in order to diminish these niggles and roam up the ground with more ease.. if pav is leading from CHF anywhere down the ground the dockers will go to him!!! when he gets the pill in forward 50 he generally kicks true as well - and a superb contested mark!!! with the rules as they r defenders are gonna struggle - 593k i think is justifyable considering the stock u r acquiring!!
although buddy is the first premium im trading in lol

mog dog your spot on pavlich is one of the best if not THE best forward in comp he will be averaging aroun 110-115 this year i can assure you

Marcus

As I said: Pavlich's price DOES not fluctuate. If you pick a forward. It's him.
6 time All Australian. Seriously if you aren't getting him on the basis you want to trade him in later at a cheaper price.... You are going to be wasting a trade.

Cool9

Can't fit all my first choices into my team and I'm afraid at $593k Pav is going to have to wait. He'll be in at some point however

bluebaggas

im not saying a disagree with your pavs price doesnt fluctuate
but if a cashcow forward is going to score more than say a defender cashcow
then you dont needs pavs price to fall to justify not having him, you just need your cashcows price to rise more

*i do have pav

TEHCOON

I reckon its a much more tougher choice this then it was last season!
last season i would have sed pavlich hands down but this year due to the fact that pav has had an interrupted pre season and how he might get more rotationthrough the midfield limiting goals his score average might drop but the on thing u get with pav is he is so consistent! Franklin on the other will be more inconsistent but with him kicking 100+ goals last season who knows how much better he can get and how radical his scores can be with him roaming the forward line 90+ of the game unlike pavlich! 50/50
