Tidy-up trades

Just curious to know how many 'tidy-up' trades coaches are using before price changes?

probably the same as ossie. first time in 2 years i'm doing it. maybe i'll wait and see when teams are named. got 1 rookie not playing but hoping he gets recalled.

Tippett down to Dangerfield. Tippett will probably dominate Melbourne as he did preseason and I might regret trading him, but Dangerfield just looks the goods. Two solid scores over 90 in two losing games makes me want to jump on the bandwagon.

Hall down to Murphy. Hall make take a while as Eade was saying, and needs to kick a bag to get a decent score. Murphy two solid games, looks fit and works up the ground to get possessions. Only doubt that Murphy may get injured at some stage, but I'll take the risk.

With Gray possibly returning and Rockliff possibly getting his first game, my forward line may up the ante, as it's the weakest part on my team.

justincredible... easy big fella thats potentially 2 trades that might not net u a significant amount of points @ season end in relation to trades spent... i do see logic as i also have tippet, have JZ and medders and do not have danger - but MPP will be handy late.  trading out baz 4 murphs - you'd be prob wanting murphs 2 be a keeper?? i'm thinking of ditching baz for peterson for more money (i love money!! ;D)

tippet has been a let down thus far, but if ur scoring okay keep him. i'm averaging 2234 with let downs and do not need a panic trade. although he may end up lying dead in the water if he keeps scoring 20s!!!! i'm prepared to wait n see with the big fella nevertheless

Yeh I see your point and I will think it over.

It's just I have that thrive for consistency. My opinion on Tippett is that if he's side plays well, he'll play well. I just think Danger will be more consistent and in addition, he's an extra midfielder.

And yes i do want Murph to be a keeper. He doesn't need to kick goals to get a decent score whereas Hall does.

Doing this I will also have a fair bit of cash in the kitty.

Also sorry what's MPP?

I'll have a long hard think about it. :)

MPP = multi-positional player, something to think about later in the season.

I.e. pick a centre/forward in both the centre line and the forward line (say, Adam Goodes and Matthew Pavlich) and you can swap them between positions

Nooooooooooo! He won't drop to 400k  ??? And you don't buy premiums to make money on them. Their price will go up and down but you buy them for their scores and to know you don't have to waste a trade on them unless LTI or if they look like they will completely bottom out (which Vince doesn't look like doing just yet)

Got sucked in by the B Hall (who I now think will be lucky to avg 70) preseason hype and will trade him to Kennedy (WCE) who I think can avg 85-90. This I think will define teh rest of my season and  will separate me from teh crowd for better or worse.
Am also thinking about removing Hille for Nicnat or Seaby.
Rest of the team is pretty solid.

@ justincredible - this year SC has introduced a new rule/maneouver. just as ossie said, tippet however is only useful if u have lobbe from port named in ur ruck and obviously tippet in fwd line as they are both have eligibility to be chosen as a ruck and a forward. u can freely swap these players throughout season by clicking on the substitute icon on team page. the only issue with this multi player postion or whatever MPP stands for(lol) the two players must have the same position classification, its basically ruck cover, but if u have warnock and no lobbe, by all means trading tippet may be plausible for u. i'm not i'll hang on to him personally

I really want to burn trades on Masten, Mcveigh, Hall, Jolly, Tippet.  Yeah my team has sucked so far.  I traded Tippet out of spite, i don't care if he does well this game kekeke
