Bloody hell, sounds liek a waste of money MP, your supposed to make your money by downgrading during the year, should of used that cash before round 1.

Have to disagree there. Saving cash is a very valid tactic. You have to know what you are doing but it does work and doesn't detract from your ability to downgrade later in the year but allows you to use money you make early much more efficiently and can give you a much stronger first half of the year and set you up such that you have a strong enough bench to weather short term injuries/suspensions.
