I'm tossing up between these two combo's..

With Hudgton's injury, Fisher might play a more defensive role thus hindering his DT ouput. Hodge is still not 100% and could have some low scores early. Didak will probably be one of the fastest forward starters but his name doesn't ring any 'premium' bells. J.Brown is cheap, but usually starts the season slowly.

I want all these players (possibly barring Didak) mid way through the season.. so i think it's best to pick-em-up now and endure possible poor form. There will be a bounty of fallen premium targets during mid-season so i want to lock in my future guns now!

Who would you have had back then?

Who would you rather have now?

My 2 cents - hope i helped. I think you've missed the boat on most of these players.

Fisher isn't playing the same role as last year (Gilbert is), so he isn't getting the high DT scores as last year. Nevertheless, he's a premium and of late, he's got some pretty scores around 100. I don't think he's playing a defensive role like you wrote, he's still rebounding some-what.

Didak pulled some pretty consistent high scores when he returned from injury, but these last couple of rounds, he's been tagged (i don't know about being 'heavily' tagged) but he may suffer the same syndrome as Danyle Pearce! Might watch him, as he's bound to leak some further cash.

Hodge is now playing in the midfield, which led him to get that killer score of 136 a couple of rounds ago. I think he's definitely on the rise and in form and we know how good he can be. The hawks mind you, look to be in really good form. good form = high DT points.

J Brown looks to be the in-form forward in my opinion - he's scored 140, 86, 146 in the last 3 rounds. As i read somewhere, once he's in form, he's like a train no-one can stop him.
