well indefinite could mean anything. however, club websites are good for the injury lists, although they should be the same as what afl got off them. wouldnt stress too much yet.

adding to that, david armitage is listed an indefinite, not sure whether he injured himself on the weekend, but i know he played in the vfl and got in the best, so he may have been on there all weekend when he played.

CFC 1979

yeah and on the same website "in the mix" has him straight back this week

you can't rely on the AFL injury list as Pros has told us all

Armitage was injured against Box Hill on the weekend. From memory it was a knee. McEvoy was also mothballed with knee concerns as well.

No where near as bad as Curnow's injury though. He is gone for the year, and it will hurt his chances of being drafted this year.

roo boys!

just saw they listed Jesse W Smith for the season ???

I thought it was a small ankle injury that he kept re-injuring?

They announced a few weeks ago that it was a chronic season (and tragically possibly career) ending injury.

North carried Jesse for 5 years with his injury problems, and still gave him a two year contract at the start of the season, but he blamed north's facilities for his injuries.   Full marks to St. Kilda for giving him another chance, but I think Jesse has got to stop blaming others for the problems he has with his own body.

I don't think he ever blamed North. What he said was he thought his best chance of recovering was somewhere else. To be fair up until this year North's facilities were portables so he had a point.

Oh I didn't know it was so bad hawk_88.

Yep, It was a bold move by Saints to risk him, and it obviously didn't pay off. If he is blamming the facilities then if he is getting injured at St Kilda the only place to go is Collingwood!

hawk_88

I think it is clear that his body just isn't up to the demands of professional sport. Sometimes is just happens. It is a shame because he was so talented.

Interestingly he trained with Hawks before the draft after he left North and they didn't take him. Should have been an alarm bell for the Saints.

This is an NDS thread ...

Yeah it is sad, he was good to watch when he was right, but you are right, stuff like that just sometimes happens and that's just they way it was meant to be.

Sorry Pros, that was the last comment on Jesse Smith.

NDS will be back this week but doe this mean they may rest him like that one round last year or is this his week off so he misses out?
