Alright have done:

Perryman to SDK
SPP to Lindsay (via Hewitt to FWD)

Will give Sanders another shot and look at next week. Thought of Warner but no point with bye.
Leaves 196.5k in the bank. Lashcroft will come in next week and will trade Paton as well. Then have the boost if necessary.

Colliwobblers

Can't disagree with those moves.

Rd 2 Score 1,856
Rd 2 Rank 60,816
Overall Rank 95,191
Cash $195,500

Better, but still not great. Some in the right direction, some worse. What to do this week. Glaring problem is only 3 trades to fix 6 problems. I'm annoyed I didn't do Sanders to Rankine as planned, even though he was subbed.

Mostly wait to see what teams are on, but thinking Paton to O'Sullivan this week and then Leake to Bice the week after. JHF has to go but not sure whether to bring in rookie for him or take the punt to Rankine as previously planned? Lalor goes as well. Has been okay without setting the world on fire at that price. Likely Lashcroft or Henderson come in for money.

Would like to change O'Sullivan (North) as well as Sanders/Day/Short but have to live with them for now I think. Day has copped tags and still ave of 100 so could come okay. Sanders very disappointing. Short I thought would get more of the kick in duties.

If I did the planned trades it would leave me with 214.6k if I did Ashcroft or 301k if I went Henderson.

I would move O'Sullivan ahead of Lalor. I don't know if O'Sullivan has a SC friendly role, but I feel like Lalor can generate more cash. Too many mouths to feed in the North midfield right now and Wardlaw is still due to come back.

I'd take the punt with Rankine if you're trading out JHF. Injury is the worry with him, but scoring has been great the first two rounds.

Yeah it would be one of O'sullivan/Lalor to go and you'd think Lalor has the better JS and job security. JHF I just don't see enough mid time with him and he seems off. With Butters to come back this his mid time becomes less and he is going to bleed cash. Can always take him out and if he improves trade him back in later

Mat0369

Round 1 JHF had a crap ton of CBA's. That dropped off in round 2 and Drew was in there for 82% compared to 68% in round 1. Port tend to rotate those guys quite heavily, looking at last year the numbers are completely random with Rozee, Butters, Wines, Drew and JHF being the main guys in that rotation. They could have 70% one week and 50% the next. Mid 60's seems to be the norm for most of the top mids, although you have guys like Neale and Daicos that would exceed that.

Well that Tsatas broken finger throws a spanner in the works. Considering the other trades I'd like to do could be a straight swap for Ashcroft then keep the other trades. He'll have a couple weeks off and could potentially bring him back in.

I'm holding him, if I had other places I didn't want to use this weeks trades on more I would probably do the same and trade him to Levi but I traded O'Sullivan over him even with the injury. Just a hunch

Ringo

I am also holding Tsatas as he has a bye next week and should be back for Rd 5. Some suggestion he may be dropped with Parish coming back but think Hobbs will go first. Has a B/e -21 as well. Could change my trade as I traded Lalor for Lindsay but think Tsatas has more upside rather than the high priced Lalor,.

That's 2 price rises you will miss from Lalor, I'm in a similar situation with O'Sullivan but feel it's better to have warm bodies for the next fortnight. Rookie lotto can often deliver some surprising results.

Colliwobblers

Something to consider with these rookie choices is round 5 positional changes.

F O'Sullivan + DEF

Davidson + MID

Henderson + FWD
L Ashcroft + FWD

Those at least are guaranteed.

Lalor + FWD = Likely

Levi as a forward is an interesting proposition, can't fit him in this week but maybe next week, might lose some bucks on O'Sullivan but I'm hoping he starts to emulate the classic seagull role the Kangas are renowned for, this week should tell a tale.

Colliwobblers

Yeah I'm happy to pay $230 for levi if he goes again. Not going to trade a viable rook out just to get him though.

F O'Sullivan has the role only two senior games not a must move on not like he's going backwards. And then if he does get going a handy defender rook.

Mat0369

Fisher had 40 odd in the VFL so he could come in this week, although after a win it would be hard to make changes

arbel

Teams out makes it intersting. Out comes Leake and in come O'Sullivan.
Now have choice to make, I am going to keep any rookie playing. Do I go Tsatas and Camporeale to Sullivan and Henderson? Or do I just do Tsatas to one of them and then fix one of my underperformers?

Was thinking could do one of Day/Short/Horne-Francis/Sanders to anyone. With the above trades can get anyone, on any line. If it's Sanders to say Rankine will leave me only 5k where JHF or the others leaves me 200k
