Pretty epic game this one, with the winner to sit alone on top of the ladder with 13-2 record!

Congratulations NDT, who is now is the box seat for a minor premiership!

2024 Head-to-Head (what if they played each other every week?)
A tale of two halves, with Seoul FLYING in the early stages of the year to claim a 6-2 record over the Tigers. But New Delhi clicked into gear, and have since posted 9-2 from the past 11 matches!

The Tigers are in form, and would feel primed for victory.

So who wins?
Irrespective of the injuries to Seoul, I think New Delhi bat way too deep and will overpower the Magpies.

And don't forget reserves!

Both teams (Mexico City, New York) have made Reserves finals but not the seniors.

You may name an indicative senior team if you wish (or I will), which will be used to determine who will not play in your Reserves side. Obviously, this senior team must consist of players you would be naming if you were playing senior finals.

What I said in Round 1

Quote from: Purple 77 on March 11, 2024, 08:03:10 PMCan BA make it a threepeat?

Is this finally Rome's year?

Will Max take Seoul to the ultimate glory?

For me, it's between these 3 teams this year. Simple reasoning is because they have multiple players that go large.

The likes of Rio and Toronto last in particular were quite successful from investing in a team that wasn't top-heavy; Toronto was only a handful of points away from winning the flag, in fact.

But it was those extra points... that Rome, BA and Seoul's players can provide, IMO.

Clearly thought no Brayshaw, no New Delhi. How wrong was I.

Max does well! But... it could have been better.

Crisp and Langdon cancel each other out, which I think NDT would be pleased by.

After Saturday

Plenty of nerves in this match, with both teams tracking below their best as the game becomes contested.

However, Zak Butters can put this game to rest and bring New Delhi home the premiership... or hand it to Seoul. They are in the box seat to win, with only Patrick Cripps able to form any meaningful resistance to the upcoming chase.

All eyes go to Lachie Bramble in Western Bulldogs v GWS, to commence the Sunday sweats.

Bramble only scores 40!

Huge result for Seoul

We now look to Sinclair v Cripps and Elijah Hollands, with Seoul needing to build a big buffer before the Tiger Cavalry arrives

Charlie Dixon late withdrawal means Waterman 86 comes on the field, and Seoul post 1377!

440 points are required from the 4 remaining Tigers, which includes Captain Butters! This could be close!
