All votes received. The following trade

Trade 6
PNL trade: Matt Crouch + PNL F2
New York trade: Brady Hough + New York F1

Has received 9 votes, and auto-fails. All coaches stated PNL should be receiving more for Crouch, with many questioning Houghs worth.

The reasons have been forwarded to both RD and Daz.

I'll close with saying making offers for players in a trade on the assumption it fails, is not a good look. Had the trade landed on 6-7 votes, I would have strongly considered overturning it to a PASS based purely on that seemingly widespread conduct.

NAT PICKS: 29, 47, 51, 55, 83, 101
FUTURE PICKS: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th

Have a sufficiently deep midfield to be considering moving a midfielder for a player on other lines.

Luke Parker is every chance to finish as a top-tier forward next season, but I'm open to shifting him to improve my age profile

As always, a lot of teams are chasing younger first choice mids, and I'd be willing to shift 24yo Lachlan Sholl following an 85 season

I'm open to moving Matthew Flynn and would not necessarily require a ruck in return

A few coaches asked about Wade Derksen after the trade rumour, I'm inclined to hang onto him until we know where he'll be playing his footy next season

Dion Prestia is moveable for draft pick offers

We've seen that Zac Fisher has an enormous ceiling farming the pill, I'd be open to trading away his upside for a more reliable option

Updated.

Brodie Grundy is still at Beijing, and ideally I want it to not be that way at the conclusion of the trade period. If you're a contender with question marks over your current ruck setup or a team just looking to bring in a 105 average player (with the history of going much bigger), then hit me up if you haven't already. We're rebuilding so this can be done with picks, or recent draftees, or a young gun or two. Give me a serious offer and we can talk.

Pick 1 is also, potentially, movable. Nothing is yet set in stone, despite what you may think, so if you think you have what it takes to get me to part with the pick, then feel free to send through an offer.

still don't know what to do about losing cap and getting forwards

Lloyd and future 2nd for a pick this year if anyones interested

might wait and see who gets/is forward next year and get one with our future 1st

Purple 77

All coaches have voted.

Trade 11
Dublin trade: Sam Clohesy, Pick 59 + Dublin F2
Tokyo trade: Tokyo F1

Has landed on 8 votes, and is auto-rejected.

All coaches felt Clohesy does not warrant a first round draft pick, feeling his valuation in closer to the recent Sharp for 24 trade.

I'll send the detailed reasons to Boomz and Holz now.

Updated :)

We're honestly pretty happy with where we sit, just a couple of updates on players that have been asked about

Joe Richards & Riley Garcia - In active discussions, both should be at new clubs in 2025 and given the lack of forwards, represent a cheap way for coaches to take a punt. Available for defenders.

Hugh McCluggage- Had a couple ask, we'd be open to adding to him to secure a higher PPG mid.

Sean Darcy - Given other moves, we're more inclined to hold now. Can move for a godfather offer, but needs a ruck coming the other way.

Jesse Hogan - I'd consider it, maybe.

kilblufftwo

if anyones not using their 3rd/4th/5th round picks and have multiple  picks in them we're willing to trade our later futures for multiples in next round

kilblufftwo

also think we just trade Langdon and/or Lloyd to fix the cap

we value both about the same an early/mid twenties pick

been offered a middle future 2nd round for Langdon but rather a pick this year

could pair with future 2nd/1st for right deal

Jukes

Three players on offer, not expecting much but they're what I need to cut to get to cap so picks preferred in return

Cameron Zurhaar - averages a solid 69 playing as a forward for an inept team, contracted through to 2029 and could definitely increase that average if North can become more and more competent. And he's a forward
Todd Goldstein - wants to go on in 2024 I hear, won't play all that much but he's a ruck who might play sometimes so there's value there and I really don't want that much for him.
Jason Johannisen - yes he's almost 32, but averaged 79 this year and might find himself at a new club away from Bevo.

Latter two won't set you back much, Zurhaar slightly more but nothing in the first round I imagine.

Nathan Broad is a 70avg defender who is contract for two more years in a team where the ball is living in the backline. Happy to move him on as my defender stocks are strong enough without him :)

Todd Marshall, Jeremy Finlayson, Sam Powell-Pepper are a trio of Port forwards with varying degrees of scoring ability and job security. Surplus to requirements in my fwd line.

our future 2nd prob going one way or another this week didnt wanna messsage everyone just for that

best offer for langdon currently is 29 too

and since we're getting a few asking about hobbs gonna say he is unlikely to leave

GoLions

Figure I should make one of these. Haven't messed around with DPP changes.

--------------------

D: Harry Sheezel (MID), Trent Rivers, Harris Andrews, Mitch Duncan, Judd McVee, Luke McDonald, Jack Bowes, Isaac Quaynor, Jimmy Webster, Alex Cincotta, Will Hamill, James Blanck, Will Edwards

M: Callum Mills, Chad Warner, Touk Miller, Scott Pendlebury, Jaeger O'Meara, Blake Acres, Tanner Bruhn, Deven Robertson (FWD), Ed Allan, Caiden Cleary, Jaxon Prior, James Tunstill, Reece Torrent

R: Toby Nankervis, Ivan Soldo, Samson Ryan (FWD)

F: Gryan Miers, Ben Keays, Tom Papley, Ollie Dempsey, Jack Graham, Mabior Chol, Lachlan Schultz, Jaidyn Stephenson, Jack Hayes, Shane McAdam, Quinton Narkle, Anthony Caminiti, Phoenix Gothard, Tyrell Dewar (DEF), Corey Warner, Shadeau Brain

--------------------

Players in red are unlikely to be traded. Everyone else is readily available. I'm waiting to see where Soldo lands (or if he stays at Port), before making a decision there - but he will be put up for trade.

I need to shed a bit of cap, so I'm happy to offload some players for picks to help with that. Duncan will probably be traded if he doesn't retire, so if you want to take a punt now, let me know.
