Round 13

Emergency Lachie Cowan (97) tried his heart out for Rio in their do-or-die clash, edging out Dublin's Bodhi Uwland (95) for this weeks nomination.

Team of the Week

Captain Bonk does it again, this time with new company from Pacific as Lloyd Meek makes his TOTW debut! It's a team otherwise dominated by Romans and Suns, whilst coach KB brought favourites Sinclair and Nando along too.

Round 14

Rising Star

The Duke! PNLs first rounder and teen sensation Caleb Windsor (120) had an absolute blinder today, heads and shoulders above the rest.

Team of the Week

With a defence containing two young stars of the competition, Cape Town was the envy of the competition this week as GoLions takes out his first COTW title for 2024.

A big week for mids this week, with Dunkley (140) stiff to miss. Jacob Van Rooyen makes his debut (as would have Treacy, doh), whilst I'm pretty sure all of the mids were a C or CC this week.

D: Trent Rivers (Cape Town), Harry Sheezel (Cape Town), Callum Wilkie (Christchurch), Jordan Ridley (Tokyo)
M: Lachie Neale [C] (New York), Connor Rozee [VC] (Rome), Zak Butters (New Delhi), Zach Merrett (PNL)
R: Toby Nankervis (Cape Town)
F: Jesse Hogan (Christchurch), Jye Caldwell (Seoul), Isaac Heeney (Toronto), Jacob Van Rooyen (Berlin)
U: Kieren Briggs (Cairo), Patrick Cripps (Seoul)

Coach: GoLions (Cape Town)

Round 15

Rising Star

An extremely impressive performance in a very important game for Mexico City, Billy Dowling (101) proved he is made of sterner stuff and ready for a finals call-up. Seoul could consider doing the same for Lawson Humphries (108).

Team of the Week

Back-to-back COTW gongs to GL! Peaking at the right time of the year?

An odd captaincy duo, with small forwards Greene and Papley leading the team this week. New York had the two best mids in it, whilst Keays makes an appearance in an otherwise typical team.

D: Adam Saad (London), Jordan Ridley (Tokyo), Bailey Dale (New York), Steven May (Seoul)
M: Lachie Neale (New York), Nicholas Martin (New York), Errol Gulden (Rome), Luke Davies-Uniacke (Mexico City)
R: Darcy Cameron (PNL)
F: Toby Greene [C] (Buenos Aires), Tom Papley [VC] (Cape Town), Ben Keays (PNL), Luke Jackson (Berlin)
U: Noah Anderson (New Delhi), Chad Warner (Cape Town)

Coach: GoLions (Cape Town)

Round 16

Rising Star

The Egyptian Wizard Nick Watson (98) produced a pearler in Cairo's win over New York, edging out Rome's Darcy Jones (84) for the Round 16 nomination.

Team of the Week

Shocking coaching prevented Tim Membrey (Berlin) from being the VC to Keays (PNL) C, in a round that makes complete sense. Seoul seems to be timing their run, producing the top score despite no players in the TOTW. Special shout-out to Tokyo producing 3 players. And London for producing Lobb.

D: Ed Richards (Cairo), Jack Sinclair (New Delhi), Harry Sheezel (Cape Town), Lachie Whitfield (Tokyo)
M: Adam Treloar [VC] (Rome), Caleb Serong (Buenos Aires), Andrew Brayshaw (Dublin), Sam Flanders (Mexico City)
R: Timothy English (London)
F: Ben Keays [C] (PNL), Jack Ginnivan (Tokyo), Dayne Zorko (New Delhi), Rory Lobb (London)
U: Daniel Rioli (Tokyo), Darcy Cameron (PNL)

Coach: JBs-Hawks (Seoul)

Round 17

Rising Star

A perfect end to the season for Buenos Aires includes a rising star nomination! Congratulations to Luke Nankervis (91), who is fast shaping up as a cornerstone of its defence.

Team of the Week

Now this is a unique TOTW! Captain Matthew Roberts almost didn't play, heading up a youthful flavour featuring Sheezel [VC], Daicos, NWM, Brayshaw, Day and Xerri.

Brent Daniels also makes a rare appearance, whilst Flanders, Stewart and Treloar don't.

D: Harry Sheezel [VC] (Cape Town), Nick Daicos (Rome), Tom Stewart (Cairo), Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera (Rio de Janeiro)
M: Matthew Roberts [C] (Buenos Aires), Adam Treloar (Rome), Tim Kelly (Toronto), Andrew Brayshaw (Dublin)
R: Tristan Xerri (Dublin)
F: Sam Flanders (Mexico City), Dayne Zorko (New Delhi), James Peatling (New Delhi), Brent Daniels (Christchurch)
