I don't think any of us thought this fantasy comp would last 10+ years. And for those who haven't been around since the start, you too have been here a bloody long time now.

I couldn't imagine watching AFL and not having a stake in the likes of Jayden Laverde, Tom Sparrow or Angus Sheldrick. I know exactly how each came to my list, their AFL journey and... by extension, almost all the others currently on an AFL list.

And you're all the same! (or at least share in this passion)

So few are as devoted to engaging in a made-up competition as convoluted as the AFL, and gathering a library of information that only enhances our connection to AFL... lest it be useful in any other circumstance (other than Gridley).

Whilst it can be laborious at times, I love this game and the food it provides to the inner-child within.

Can BA make it a threepeat?

Is this finally Rome's year?

Will Max take Seoul to the ultimate glory?

For me, it's between these 3 teams this year. Simple reasoning is because they have multiple players that go large.

The likes of Rio and Toronto last in particular were quite successful from investing in a team that wasn't top-heavy; Toronto was only a handful of points away from winning the flag, in fact.

But it was those extra points... that Rome, BA and Seoul's players can provide, IMO.
