Still no Mannagh? Looks like Geelong just blew a high draft pick, crazy picking a 26 year old and not giving him any gametime, particularly given the side is on a steep decline.

Ringo

At least Mannagh has DPP and can sit at M11 and move to F8 as required.

Not a bad week, scored 2418 and moved up to 18k, the only major concern is Ridley so I'm thinking of grabbing one of Butters/Serong/Dunkley/Neale. Butters is the cheapest but is copping tags, ditto Serong, Dunkley at 592k very tempting but holding the extra cash could be critical with only 1 trade remaining. I'm preparing for Fisher to be transferred to Rankine if the sub virus hits in the next few weeks.

The other option would be to hold off all trades and wait for Lawson Humphries, could even grab him a week early.

If doing that trade it could be tough if it only leaves you with one trade. So if you did Ridley to Butters that only leaves 1 trade? With Comben that could be hard as well although he is playing well and BE is low again so could do straight sway in a few weeks

Colliwobblers

That's a great score. Nicely done.

I'd hold Ridley and the trade, given my recent experience in trading premiums...

I've got 150k up the sleeve so Comben to Rankine very doable.

But you're correct, it leaves me thin if I cop an injury, it's a gamble for sure.

The other option is to hold Ridley, trade Aleer to Humphries, bank 190k and sit on 2 trades. This way I get ironclad cover as I have Sinclair in the mids.

Colliwobblers

I like that, two trades left with (is that $190k + $150k) ?

Pretty much means those two trades upgrade two worst performing or two injured players.

Goosey

Excellent round score considering so many low premium scores, your team is strong and perhaps keeping some safety trades in the pocket is best for ensuring a strong team to finish the season.

That will be the kitty with Aleer down to 117k defender, I'm gravitating towards Humphries, if he's a keeper then he solves a truckload of problems & can cover two lines & provide a swing set with Sinclair.

190k + Dowling, let's see if I can buy into something decent, Rankine or Caldwell would be the best outcome.

Probably sound advice, still a long way to go, let's hope Ridley turns it around, conditions weren't great for intercept marking so there's that to consider.

Was about to say the same. The conditions didn't really suit intercept marking so maybe hold for the moment

Don't get sucked in by Cats rookies, Scott likes to rotate them and they can disappear without being seen again, even after a good performance. After a great week I would hold, keep an eye on the teams and only make a trade if you can't cover someone.

Humphries is 21 years old, same age as Dempsey, I don't think he falls into the same category as the first or second year guys. I would say his job security is perhaps marginally better than Schoenmaker given the Saints have a long list knocking down the door. It's also the DPP, if he maintains his spot he effectively covers 2 lines, that could be really handy once out of trades.

Bully

With Fisher out this week are people trading? I'm very tempted to just grab Rankine and be done with it, McKercher only adds to the uncertainty.
