Good: Whitfield, Dale, Yeo, Stewart, May, Butters, LDU, Gulden, Humphries, Grundy, Caldwell, Jackson
Pass: Rozee, Laird, Flanders
Bad: Daicos, Bont (C), Walsh, Green, English, Zorko
Ugly: Salem, Richards, Moore

Not a bad week but could have been better. I decided to play May over Salem considering the weather and from what I saw it looked like he had Guelfi following him around and May scored around 80 points more. Ouch! Other screw up was my VC, not sure why I went Daicos in the end and I contemplated LDU/Gulden into Bont or Bont into Butters/Green/Flanders. I ended up with an underwhelming choice but it wasn't catastrophic.

I looped Humphries with Laird and in the end and gained around 8 point. Of the guys I was considering Green would have been the play here as well but again it was negligible. Trades were solid, Humphries hit the ton and gives me nice swing cover with Salem and El-Hawli over two lines. Jackson scored well and Fisher played VFL so that move had to be made.

I'm out of trades so this will be the team I roll with for the rest of the season. Heeney is back this week and Dowling filled in admirably with a ton. I just need to get my loophole right with May/Salem to capitilise on points going forward. The team isn't amazing but it is solid and my coverage performed well when needed this week

arbel

Team is solid enough and yeah with no more trades just have to get the loops right. Team is good though and have coverage on all lines. Hope you can run it til the end

Ringo

Team is solid as Arbel says just need to work loop holes out each week for maximum benefit as you have a variety of DPP as well to cover,

Mat0369

Yeo my only pain at selection. The Salem swing comes in handy here and I can play one of Salem or Humphries to cover Yeo.

I've gone Bont vice into one of Gulden or LDU.

Laird with a monster first half, knowing Nicks he'll bench him most of the second half and he'll finish on 98

Played about 50% of the last quarter, yet another frustrating game, scaling crucified him for the sins of the coach.

New problems with Caldwell, at least he has DPP but the forward line has been a minefield this year.

Bully

Good news with Caldwell, not so good with Dawson.

Mat0369

Laird apparently injured. He had no CBA's in the last quarter, played forward and had 53% TOG. Nicks said he couldn't push off but toughed it out. He may also be missing

Did they say if Caldwell was concussed? I know he was subbed due to the test taking at least 20 minutes with 25 of game time left

Caldwell passed his concussion test, he should be free to play next week.

Mat0369

So Laird was a corked quad, he can hopefully get up next week with Caldwell. Otherwise more injury carnage on the horizon

Mat0369

What happened to Jackson and Salem? I'm at the Blues game and missed it

Ringo

Jackson iced his knee and from reports sub was precautionary but watch reports during the week.
No injury that I could see for Salem just could not get near it in last quarter and scored 0 for quarter,

Mat0369

My app says Salem was injured in the third quarter. He has 48% TOG in Q3 after 100 in Q2 and 0% in the last

It was an okay week with a bunch of spotfires which stopped it from being a great week. The main issue right now, injuries.

Salem is out 3 to 4 weeks and missed over half the game, Rozee was iced up late in the Port game, Laird had a corked quad which killed his last quarter and hopefully he pulls up okay, Yeo missed last week with general soreness, Caldwell had the knock that saw him subbed out but he passed the concussion test, Walsh had a knock to the hip/back but they said he pulled up okay and Jackson was icing up in the Freo game and hopefully it is just precautionary. Add in Humphries coming off a wet game and Geelong loving to rest and rotate their young guys, so he could be a prime rest/vest candidate this week while Richards may be a sub/drop risk due to Collingwood's form.

I could be looking at a whole box of Krispy Kreme's this week if it all goes pear shaped

Colliwobblers

good result given the carnage, you still have very solid cover and most of those guys should be good to go this week. Nothing to gain for the pies now, they ought to be playing every kid they have.

Ringo

Great result - Neither Caldwell, Yeo, Laird or Rozee on injury lists  so that may be good news for you.
You have solid cover and can loop as well.  Similar situation to you and basically not a lot of options to trade Salem to.
