Fisher throws a spanner in the works....

Salem looks like a luxury there on the bench.

If you were reckless.

Salem to Humphries

Fisher to Caldwell

Next week Boak to Rankine

Or

Boak to Caldwell, hold Fisher and Salem and wait on Humphries.

Mat0369

Salem I am holding. He is my cover in the midfield and down back. I'm $500 short of doing Boak to Rankine if I grab Kreuger, I could grab Humphries instead and that gives me the cash to make that move. I'm not a big fan of the pick but he would just swing about with Salem and if he plays that's a bonus. Dowling is my current forward coverage so it's getting a little worrying.

Colliwobblers

Cox is listed as 2-4 weeks maybe Humphries instead of Kreuger.

Mat0369

Honestly leaning towards just the one trade and holding Fisher this week. His price won't change, if he comes back and returns to form he will be a nice pod. I know whatever move I make it will blow up in my face based on the rest of the season haha

Colliwobblers

I can't see Fisher being dropped and with FWD points so up and down he is surely safe to keep right through. I'd only move him on if that was always your plan.

Boak to Caldwell is an easy fix and leaves you two trades and decent cover. 44 is a bit hard to cop again.

I'll trade fisher out of my team for you, that will lock him in for a 120 on return. Thank me later.

Boak > Caldwell

Good: Stewart, Whitfield, Butters, Rozee, LDU, English, Heeney, Caldwell, Moore
Pass: Salem, Flanders
Bad: Daicos, Dale, Yeo, May, Bont, Gulden, Laird, Green, Grundy, Zorko, Dowling
Ugly: Walsh, Richards

It was an okay week considering I had so many guys underpeforming and didn't nail my captins choice. Boak to Caldwell paid off and I have 2 trades in the bank with barely any cash. I am waiting to see what the deal is with Fish this week but I am tempted to burn at least one trade and turn him into Jackson if he misses again. I could also keep an eye on Reid to Humphries to open up that DPP and allow me to get Salem as my mid/defence swing like I originally anticipated.

arbel

That's a pretty decent score still considering and also looks like you've dodged the triple whammy of Rankine, Heeney, Gawn. I think Fisher may not get back too soon and if he does his role might not be what it was so could do the trade to Jackson. Completes the FWD's and gives you ruck coverage. Leaves you the 1 trade which I'd hold for emergencies

Ringo

Like the trade of Fisher to Jackson which I would do regardless as Arbel says role may change with NcKercher back.

Mat0369

So with Fisher not named I'm burning my last two trades.

Fisher to Jackson
Reid to Humphries

By doing Reid to Humphries it opens up Salem covering both midfield and the backs. I could also do someone like Richards to Windsor or Mannagh using a bunch of DPP swings to allow Salem to swing between the backs and midfield but I don't think it's worth the trade and best to grab Humphries before he spikes in price

Those are solid trades, I think trading Fisher is the right call, McKercher is the preferred seagull and even if he returns, Fisher is likely to be shuffled around the park.

arbel

Yeah those trades are pretty sound. Think the best you can do with it.

Mat0369

I'm trying to work out who I bench to get Humphries score. I ended up putting him in my midfield and I'm starting Salem over May in the backline. All my mids are below

Bont - No
LDU - No
Gulden - No
Butters - No
Rozee - No
Walsh - No
Laird - Mabe
Green - Maybe

Right now I'd lean towards Laird vs the Saints and play Green vs the Tigers.

Colliwobblers

I don't expect the port lads to have anywhere near as much dominance against the suns at home, but you never know.

Last time I benched Laird.... big ton.

Think your on the money would be rozee/laird/green I'd be choosing between.

Mat0369

I think it's tough for players to back up monster scores with another monster but the Suns midfield can give up points and they lost their best defensive mid.

I think Green can go massive vs the Tigers hence why I'm leaning towards keeping him in. Laird is the one that can just get randomly pulled for a quarter and it will kill his score which is why I'm leaning towards him.

arbel

Out of those Laird probably the one. Have to weigh up potential of him going big. Don't think vs saints he's going to bring out a 140 so at most may only miss 20ish points.
