A little bit of a selection headache in that final spot, no Karl Amon or Matt Kennedy providing the headaches. It's a recall for Tom De Koning who can hopefully excel against the Saints backline. Jack Viney is given the opportunity to captain the side against a North side who hopefully roll over for him. Bring on the Rhythm Cup :)

After Saturday

Dillos are in a good position against the Jags, who will need to really lift in order to get the win. Jags will be praying that Ziebell or another forward gets subbed - Ash Johnsons 25 is ready and waiting to change the game! Big pressure on Viney.

Despite being the hosts, the Magpies without a ruck or Clarry go into this game as big underdogs, and I think... they're a small chance. It's possible Kozzie and Harmes stink it up, and Rome wheel to 1350, or less. If that happens, Cripps and McCluggage need to combine for 400 I'd say, leaving May, Curnow and Scott to combine for 250 to win. It's possible! But advantage - Rome.

Danger for Toronto here, in what is the closest match of the 4 I think. Despite a wonderful effort from the back half, the front half has capitulated, putting the pressure on Roma to win the match. Butters and Hinge have given a chance... just a shame KB conceded.

Gryan Miers you sarn b*tch! Gryan and Chad Warners huge last quarter as put the HEAT into the Suns, whom looked in a superb position after Sicily posted 166! Christian Petracca MUST perform for the Suns to level the playing field, then really, it's anyones game!

These Dillos CAN Dance!

They did it! The Dillos FINALLY got a finals win over Brazil, ending a decade of dominance. But don't discount Rhythm Cup XVII in 3 weeks time! The Jags needed to bring their very best to win... and did not get it from its captain, but at least have a lot of Capuchins raising their hands.

Rome win the battle; lose the war?

A very vulnerable Rome looked primed for the taking, but it just felt like Seoul were defeated before the game started. Clarry comes back next week though, and no doubt a response from the playing group. A playing ruck would round it off perfectly.

Nick Daicos going down... could be the difference for Rome, however.

Toronto Terrific

The Wolves were tested throughout the whole contest, despite its coaches consistent lack of faith. Butters and Hinge did all they could, but they needed defense stalwarts Dawson and Sinclair to follow suit. Alas, it was Toronto's defence that out shone the much vaunted Tigers d50, with tons from Roma, Kelly and Newcombe to complement. A terrific final well played by both - congratulations to Toronto, commiserations to New Delhi, who will return in 2024.

SUNS RISE

The Cobras were looking the most likely I reckon going into Sunday, but a HUGE Sunday from Mexico City turned the tide; crashing over the Cobras on the backs off Petracca, Newman, Young and LDU whom all tonned whilst only Andrews could salute for Cape Town. This was another ripper game and fitting send off for the Cobras, whose entry into the finals series was breath taking. It's a shame it all ends now - onto 2024!

Kudos also to James Sicily for keeping the Suns in it whilst Cape Town threatened to run away with the match.
