Houston Bombers 17.10.112 lost to Carolina Panthers 19.9.123

A valiant effort by Houston, but in the end no match for a just-okay Panthers performance. Three scores between 47 and 51 in the starting midfield really hurt the Bombers, as did the 69 by the VC, while Doch's big score saved Carolina from a much closer affair.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 14.11.95 lost to Quito Quetzals 18.10.118

The Quito coach promised a free percentage booster...and they got it, although it would've been much greater if they didn't name Buckley at D4 and sub, which coupled with the Williams green vest could be the % that costs them finals. As for Anaheim, while they scored better than last week thanks mostly to Merrett remembering how to football - Ashcroft's injury could hurt them a lot more than this loss will. But for real - Buku Khamis at D3 is asking to get picks stripped for tanking!

Don't blame me, I tried to get PK to name a team. Definitely opens a door for Quito and Colorado, if they can take advantage of it. Wisconsin scoring sub-1700 is rare enough, let alone when they have a 178 up forward for them.

Colorado just continue falling ass-backwards into wins! Boston may have been missing Laird, but they're been good enough for most of the season to put up constant 115+, if not 120+, scores without him anyway - until now. Really spices up the finals race, with an upset NBH and Quito were hoping against.
