AAP Alliance (FTC) EurAsia (JBs-Hawks) Optus Stadium3  v  8

AAP have thrown down the gauntlet to EurAsia. Can JB use his experience to overcome FTCs defence of iZanders fast start?

The rules:
- We have a best of 2 games series, where in the event of a tie, the highest combined score wins. If that is also the same, the highest individual team score wins.
- Game 1 MUST use entirely different players to Game 2, and vice versa. There can be no crossover whatsoever. Coaches must co-ordinate with each other WHO will be using WHICH players.
- The highest ranking coach of AAP will go against the highest ranking coach of EurAsia in Game 1. The second highest ranking coaches of each team will clash in Game 2.
- A rolling lockout, traditional team format, 4 emergencies no restings.
- You are able to tag, but you can only nominate a tagger and taggee with non-locked players.
- Loopholing in all forms is permitted.

No Port players for either side. However, Houston was bloody supposed to do that (146) last week. barbie.

Ollie Wines' 134 has gone begging. Cracks appearing for AAP.

Game on!

Bontempelli's MASSIVE captains knock for the Alliance has papered over a pretty brittle defence of the series so far.

Himmelberg, Bolton and Macrae combined for just 209, whilst Nank, Vlastuin and Dale tread water with 90s. Whilst Sheezel was able to crack a small ton, unfortunately for EurAsia the unlikely (AAP hero?) Kieren Briggs is primed to jump in with a great representative score from E1.

With 175 points to catch, there is no room for error at EurAsia. And to be honest... so far so GREAT!

Dochers and Lib put in solid showings, Daniel matched Sheezel's small ton, but damage has been dealt by Rome duo Adam Treloar and Josh Kelly! Jukes/Torp is clearly still contributing to the cause, with Kelly destined to be loopholed in.

I think EurAsia are a BIG shot here, but we can't afford a single passenger. I have faith we'll get there.

JACK SINCLAIR continues the overwhelming EurAsia momentum! Alas, Josh Dunkley... probably needed more, but it's not terrible. Gawn alas didn't impress on the bench, setting Big O to stay on the field and manage a couple more (94) and give EurAsia it's first non-centurion.

It seems AAP are content with non-centurions however, shifting the magnets so that Chris Salem's 96 will join Rowan Marshall's 99. It appears AAP will land at or around 1650, meaning EurAsia's last 7 players will need to combine for a VERY gettable 750!

GAAAAAMMMEEEE ON!
