2023 Round 4 Lodgement Thread

With using the AF Flexible draw I will be nominating team with the HGA and in all cases will be first named team. Will be endeavouring to ensure equitable home games,

Captains and Vice Captains will be locked at bounce of Brisbane/ Collingwood Game Thursday.

With rolling lock outs till first game Saturday lock outs as follows
Brisbane and Collingwood Players will be locked at bounce Thursday
North and Carlton Players locked at bounce Friday
All players locked at bounce of Adelaide and Fremantle game Saturday,

Teams can be lodged in either 3 ways in this thread .

3. As per UF where it is assumed first 2 available players as Utilities and next 4 as emergency.

Some interesting clashes this week

Huddersfield Hawks v Swansea Breakers
9th v 7th Little separating these 2 teams. Both Teams coming off good wins last week. Breakers will need to contain the ever improving Daicos as Hawks captain which will not be an easy task. Think Hawks may get it done with the home ground advantage.

Blackpool Bunnies v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs
10th v 12th.  Which one of these teams will post their first win of the season. Clash of Captains Neale v Merrett could be decisive in deciding outcome. Another game which could be decided by HGA favouring the Bunnies

Hastings Hurricanes v Bradford Badgers
8th v 11th - hard to see the Hurricanes upsetting the Badgers in this one.

Manchester Magic v Winchester Werewolves
1st v 8th - Can the Wolves inflict the Magic's 1st defeat of the season.  They have the cattle to match the Magic but will be difficult at the Magics home ground, Expect the Magic to continue on their winning ways,

Oxford Lions v Staines Steins
4th v 3rd Probably the match of the round with little difference on paper.  Both teams coming off unexpected losses last week so will be looking to get back on the winners list. Whoever wins the middle will more than likely come out on top and with both midfields evenly matched hard to predict a winner.,  Toss of the coin and HGA will favour Lions.

Nottingham Hoods v Grope Lane Giants
2nd v 5th - Hoods suffered an unexpected loss to Wolves last week and we will be looking to bounce back.  Will not be an easy task against the Giants who had a very strong win against the Lions. Can Giants Ruckman English continue his strong start to the season to give their mid field first use of the ball? Will the return of LDU strengthen Hoods midfield and help contain Giants midfield.  Another toss of the coin but think Hoods just with HGA.

Can you ensure that you update team in AF as well and ensure Captains are also nominated prior to Thursday bounce, AF also locks players out and is difficult for Admin  to amend after lockouts.
