Ziebell playing which is a bonus. I like Himmelberg over Yeo, he is one I will be looking at as a swing player at his price. The downside is I have barely anyone to trade to him that makes it an easy trade. With Cadman out this week I'd probably hold off and see. They did say they plan on playing him back so that makes him extremely tempting

Himmelberg has a high BE so can wait, might be an easy sideways for JVR after his bye.

My Sicily pick not looking good but looking at the footage I'm struggling to see 3 weeks, maybe 1 week for the gentle push in the back after McCluggage was floored. I think the AFL are ruining the sport with these adjudications.

On the surface it was an ok week scoring 2144, rank fairly stable at 16k but the next few rounds could see some serious carnage.

With the Sicily news I think I'll hold and hope he gets his sentence reduced, don't think he gets off but I personally don't see any high tackle that resulted in concussion, it was a fair contest. With Merrett getting off I reckon it's all in the name, Christian has it in for certain players and Sicily probably at the top of the list.

In any case, my Mullin gamble failed as he has an abductor strain, there's another rookie bomb, the only prudent course of action is to get some reinforcements in and hope this will see me through.

Himmelberg vs Yeo rears it's head for a second successive week but I'm opting for Himmelberg as I think he's less likely to miss matches, that's really the only factor separating the two.

I've punted Atkins, it will cost me a donut in round 15 but I'm tanking now that I'm down to 3 trades. Atkins still might be dropped for Weller so I best get this done now rather than later.

Van Rooyen comes out for Nat Fyfe, this is a decent trade to get some flexibility into the side, it also gives me 3 Freo mids so the 300 points should be reasonably safe, maybe slightly less but it will be around the mark.

Cripps is a massive worry but I'll hold for one more week to get 18 starters, I haven't ruled out trading for Darcy Cameron next week but let's just see how he goes.

I think I desperately need another playing mid on my bench, will look at the field next week for a sideways trade for Sharp, missed another good one in Wardlaw but such is life.

Agreed that Himmelberg is the option over the often injured Yeo.

Tarryn Thomas also looks to be providing some value, he looked ridiculously good in that second quarter for North on the weekend. Should make some cash and may also provide coverage. The worry is the off the field with him but he could provide a different option to Fyfe

I thought about him but his bye is the killer, probably would have been a lock but I would effectively be buying into another donut next week.

Fyfe seems like a good pick given I also have Brayshaw & Johnson, between the three there should be 250-300 points a week.

Yeah with your shortage of trades I think Fyfe is the better option over Thomas.

Sicily has to go, he would have been a hold after the byes but this round is looking terrible, I reckon I'll be looking at 1500 which could see a bit of a tumble.

After bringing in Darcy Cameron & Keays I'll be down to 1 trade, will try and get Johnson up to Mills but that will take some luck with only 20k in the kitty.

Team is complete enough, it's not perfect but it should be reasonably competitive, Mills at M8 would be great but Johnson's subbing has destroyed his short term earnings, hopefully Mills gets eased back in and drops another 120k.

Keays could be a hit if he stays in the midfield and doesn't get tagging duties, I'll keep close watch before the game to ensure he's not tagging Daicos.

Bully

Mills named so will hold off all trades until I get a good look & some idea of pricing. I am tempted to just bring him in now given it's West Coast, he could feasibly get within 30 points of his BE.

If he's a target and one of the last players to complete your team then it doesn't matter what his break even is.

To get him this week it would be down to zero trades, that's my primary concern, but I much prefer him to Keays who still may go to Daicos this week.

Jezza has also thrown his hat in the ring, the -2 should see his price plummet, straight swap with a 300k rookie feasible now.

Agreed, it sounds like you're going to have 0 trades regardless of who you bring in to finish your side off, may as well just grab Mills now if that's the case.

Yeo out for a month. Himmelberg was the right call so far

I saw that, dodged some minefields with Atkins also bleeding cash.

I ended up grabbing Mills, I figured it was best to get the best available whilst I could. Now it's just a case of seeing how long I can last without injury.

Fyfe/Johnson at M8 not ideal but it's been a tough year, rank at 15k which will probably blow out if players start dropping.

I think grabbing Mills is the best. With trades not happening after you get him doesn't matter if hes cheaper or not as can't use money elsewhere.
Think it's the right call. Hopefully you get a good run home. Has been that sort of year.
