Options 1, 3 or 7 would be my goes. Stewart and Laird will both finish top in their lines and are safe options.
Anderson going good but will be affected by Touk coming back although that won't be for a while. Could ride him til the byes.
Using the boost is a good idea. If it leaves you with 2 boosts still which is good.
Heading forward from now you really want to start getting the upgrades in so option 7 may be the way.

Ringo

Have virtually decided on Option 7 unless Team selections through up a curve ball.

Mat0369

Grundy to Gawn is a solid sideways trade. I like using the boost to grab Brayshaw. He could be on the upswing and has the ability to score a couple of monsters. I would lean towards option 6 or 7 if you're happy to use the boost

Rd 9 Update - Continuing to ride the weekly Rollercoaster would like some consistency

Rd 9 Score 2,129
Rd 9 Position 50,548
Overall position 8,672(down 1,659)
Cash $69,400
Trades Remaining 20

Trades: Grundy to Gawn, Davey to Atkins.

Leaving this Rd 9 Team

Good: Daicos, Mitchell, Bontempelli, Oliver, Ashcroft Marshall, Dunkley, Gulden, Rozee. Ryan,
Average: Day, Sheezel (technically still a rookie), Neale. Green, Wilmot. Taranto, Coniglio, Atkins, Gawn
Bad:  Jones, Steele, Baker
Ugly: McKenna, Cincotta, Chandler - Playing McKenna and Cincotta on field.

One of these days will get rookies right on field but with Suns and West Coast having early games made looping unviable.

Looking at these trades for Rd 10 using a boost (still have 2 remaining)
Option 1  Chandler McKenna Baker to Humphrey, Sharp, Petracca
Option 2 as above but Rowell instead of Petracca as a POD.
Option 3 as for 1 but Stewart instead of Petraca.
Other options available but all have the Round 15 bye which is a problem.
If Humphrey or Sharp not selected can revert to Drury  or Weedle if need be.  Humphrey with the a B/E of -57 and 2 weeks of 50+ will make 100k which is why I prefer paying up for him. Sharp JS the issue but interesting he was brought in with Zorko and Rich out but retained position over Answerth when Zorko returned last week.
Chesser, Roberts, Madden and Constable my deadwood atm. Chesser close to returning and Constable getting close as well if Dews presser is to be believed:
Current Bye Structure Excluding the above 4 and any proposed trades
Rd 12 18 available
Rd 13 25 Available
Rd 14 19 available
Rd 15  18 available.
Not too bad and manageable watching trades for next 3 rounds,

Bully

Lloyd Meek another to consider Ringo, I'm looking into this as a viable way to get Gawn in round 12.

Keep an eye on Trac this week, he injured his ankle late in the game but it might be pretty minor. With Steele also having the knee knock it might be worth making sure you have some decent mid coverage for this week. It looks like you have flexibility so you should be okay. Option 1 or 3 look the best. I would lean towards Trac based on current form

Serong is another option if Trac does not get up and really suits byes.

With news that Soldo may play this week may trade Ryan instead of Baker,  Baker although not making cash now has JS.

arbel

Option 1 looks best to me, then 3 and 2.
Me personally I think Drury might be an okay pick, while he won't get great scores, with all the injuries to north he may have good job security and make some cash.
A 102k player with DPP is pretty good to have. Otherwise yeah comes down to team selection.

Mat0369

I heard Nank may be ready to go physically this week but they may hold off until the byes. I think Ryan gives them a better chance than Soldo to win as the main ruck, his hit outs to advantage have been exceptional. I don't think Richmond mess with the formula right now.

Serong is an interesting pick, he has been super consistent and far better than I thought he would be this year. I don't know if he keeps it up the rest of the way but with Brayshaw drawing the attention and his ability to win the contested ball he looks like he will have a solid floor. I don't know if he will be a top 8 mid the rest of the way though where I think Stewart will be a top 6 defender, so if I was passing on Trac I would probably still go towards Stewart for that reason alone

Rd 10 Update - Continuing to ride the weekly Rollercoaster would like some consistency

Rd 10 Score 2,469
Rd 9 Position 19,865
Overall position 8,683(down 11)
Cash $15,600
Trades Remaining 17

Trades: Chandler, Baker, McKenna to Petracca, Sharp, Humphrey

Leaving this Rd 10 Team

Good: Daicos, Sheezel, Bontempelli, Oliver, Petracca, Green, Neal, Ashcroft, Steele, Atkins, Marshall.Dunkley, Taranto, Rozee, Coniglio, Humphrey
Average: Wilmot, Mitchell,
Bad: Jones, Day. Gawn
Ugly: Sharp, Chesser, Ryan.

What to do this week.

If Cincotta not selected maybe trade to Weddle sideways I know but worth the trade to keep cash gen going with Weddle having a -47 B/E
Sharp an issue but still a negative B/E if selected.  Rich still 2 weeks away so maybe not back till after byes,
Wait and see on Oliver but if only 3/4 weeks a hold with byes coming up after Rd 11 with best 18 counting.
Could also do Madden to McAndrew with Swans ruck issues to get cash gen but not essential.
Gawn brought in to swing to F6 but having 2nd thoughts atm. Ryan was to be used to upgrade.

Thinking at the moment of sitting pending selections and injury reports.  If Oliver out would mean playing Atkins and Wilmot on field.

Wardlaw, Ford and possibly McAndrew radar for Rd12.  Not worth going early at this stage (Drury etched in memory),

Any thoughts,

Mat0369

Wardlaw I feel is worth going early for but a little more expensive. I'm holding Oliver as well with the byes coming up.

Can you look at doing something like Ryan down to Wardlaw using Mitchell/Chesser and turn Chase Jones into a prem mid or defender?

arbel

Ford could be a good unique. Another score like that and he will come in to many teams purely for the cash grab.

Mat0369

He is one I have an eye on for a couple weeks away. Baldwin is expensive for the Bombers but he has been playing great footy as a key defender for them the last couple of weeks. He is one I am considering this week as a downgrade option as well

Thanks Guys

Would you do this trade -

Samson Ryan, Oliver, Chayce Jones to Tom Stewart, Merrett, and Wardlaw

Stewart has the Rd 13 bye which I am comfortable with - Could do Laird instead of Merrett,

Will leave me with 14 trades and 1 boost,  Hoping Cincotta returns - Only laving Madden, Constable and Roberts deadwood.

Trades look great, Merrett has a soft draw coming up and should do very well. I'm grabbing Laird however, I just think he's a tad more consistent.
