Trade 22
Rio de Janeiro trade: Daniel Rich, Will Day, Pick 15 + Pick 52
Rio de Janeiro receive: Lachie Weller, Nathan Broad, Sam Collins + Denver Grainger-Barras

Toronto trade: Nathan Broad, Denver Grainger-Barras + Toronto Future 2nd Round Pick
Toronto receive: Daniel Rich + Pick 52

Seoul trade: Lachie Weller + Sam Collins
Seoul receive: Will Day, Pick 15 + Toronto Future 2nd Round Pick

This trade received 7 votes, meaning it has failed, but I have the ability to overturn into a pass.

Coaches were consistent in the reasons, feeling Seoul was receiving too much for what they were giving, and also felt Rio was giving too much for what they were receiving. Many coaches suggested removing Pick 15 from the deal would solve in the imbalance. No coaches mentioned Toronto's involvement at any point.

I won't labour the point - I see the merit in what the coaches are saying, noting Weller and Collins posted 81 and 68 averages respectively in what could be argued in the prime of their career, compared to Will Day posting 66, with an argument (not saying he will) for improvement. The inherit argument is that their value (one a 1 for 1 basis) isn't dissimilar, and the gap isn't as wide as Pick 15 + Future 2nd suggests.  I'm not saying I agree one way or the other, but I'd conclude the coaches weren't unreasonable in their assessments of value.

Thus, the trade remains REJECTED

I'll be posting the reasons to the coaches involved.

This trade received 6 votes, meaning it has failed but I have the ability to overturn it to a pass.

Trade 26
Seoul trade: Seoul Future 1st Round Pick + Buenos Aires Future 1st Round Pick
Tokyo trade: Tokyo Future 1st Round Pick

All coaches expressed concerns on the strong likelihood of Tokyo overpaying in this trade, given Seoul and Buenos Aires have genuine top 4 claims next year, whilst Tokyo may be more likely to finish in the bottom half of the ladder.

I think this trade was the reason why we (the community) had initial reservations in allowing the trading of future 1st round selections. Irrespective of the possibility of Tokyo profitting this trade, the potential for it go pear-shaped for a team whom finished bottom of the ladder, and whom didn't hedge their bets by including a known quantity in the trade... I think I may have even rejected it if it landed on 4-5 votes.

Trade is rejected.

Reasons will be PMed to Seoul and Tokyo.

I am looking to add one additional forward to my squad, preferably 70-75+ averaging forward if young-mid age or slightly higher on the older side

Cairo, Rio and Mexico City yet to vote.

Both trades decided.

Trade 40
Dublin trade: James Harmes + Pick 41
Rome trade: Jack Ziebell, Pick 12 + Pick 54

auto-passes

Trade 39
Christchurch trade: Rory Lobb
London trade: London Future 1st Round Pick

Has received 7 votes. All think London are overpaying, pointing towards the likelihood of a top 5-10 draft pick for a player that isn't certain to get RUC status.

I don't disagree with the coaches enough to overturn the decision.

Trade is rejected.

Reasons will be sent to coaches shortly

Seeking defenders. Picks 16, 24 and 30 available. Jamie Cripps also available for those seeking a 70+ forward, but would need commensurate cap in return
