Very little movement indicates that the ladder is beginning to settle. However, Rio's loss to Rome sees it slip to 4th place, overtaken by Pacific whom also banked MASSIVE % points in its win over Dublin.

Cape Town and London swapped places, as did New York and Seoul.... which where the only other movements in the whole round.

After Round 13

I mentioned earlier the top 10 seem locked, but I'll correct myself and say the top 12 remain viable chances for finals. Movements have thus been small, but important.

Buenos Aires - despite losing its first game - is still 2 games ahead Pacific, who is closing in the Dillos points scored so far this year.

The Suns - despite its win against Berlin - slip to 4th, such was the magnitude of Rio's sensational win against the previously undefeated Buenos Aires! What a win!

Beijing's low scoring win over Toronto sees them swaps places at 8th/9th. Toronto is in the unenviable position of now being 1 game outside the 8, but still 1 game ahead of 10th.

But don't discount Seoul... they've been kinda average this season, but its 2020 grand final core is still there, and I feel like they can kick into gear still.

Buenos Aires have 1 hand on the minor premiership, 1 win away from making it a sure thing.

Rio's shock loss against Beijing sees it slip from 3rd to 6th, such was the % boosting wins for ALL THREE of Mexico City, New Delhi and PNL. Ouch.

Beijing themselves move to only 1 spot below the Jags! Rom slip to 8th, now level with Toronto at 9th. Seoul clings to life at 10th.

Seoul's big win over Pacific has devastated Pacific from 2nd down to 6th! All of a sudden the Islanders could even be at risk of missing the 8  :-X

Despite the loss, Beijing cling to the 8, fortunate that Toronto lost against Cape Town. But heeerrrreee comes Seoul!!! I just feel like that could make a huge charge from here!

Man is it getting spicy now! Let's start at the top...

Buenos Aires form slump has left them somewhat vulnerable at losing the minor premiership to... New Delhi?! If PNL pump Buenos Aires next week, and New Delhi beat Rome, then the Tigers could win the minor premiership  :o :o :o

Pacific's ominous performance not only took PNL down to 6th, but elevated themselves back to 3rd, but only 0.001% ahead of Rio at 4th. Round 17 is going to be HUGE in determining the order of the top 8!

Rome possess the best % in the comp, and if they win next week, they will leap frog any of 3rd to 6th who lose.

Beijing's character defining victory over Mexico City has them CLINGING to 8th spot, which is only at risk to the 9th placed Seoul whom have had an absolutely inspired month with 5 wins in a row. Seoul will need themselves to beat Mexico City next week, and Beijing to lose against Pacific, in order for the 2 teams to swap places. SO TENSE!

Toronto's season is officially over at 10th, as attention will soon drift to the off-season.

Lastly... I give Tokyo a sneaky chance at beating Cairo next week, which would surely see Dublin receive the spoon.

The final Home & Away ladder!

Congratulations to Buenos Aires for holding onto the minor premiership! Despite it's shaky end to the season, a simply dominant first 12 undefeated rounds was something to behold and worthy of winning the minor premiership. Of course, however, only 1 team has gone on to win the premiership from top spot... so the odds are against them!

New Delhi were 60SC points away from claiming the minor premiership, which is simply amazing! The 2021 2nd last team have had an unbelievable season, having an uncanny knack of sizing up their opponents and scoring accordingly. Congratulations KB!

And now... for the juicy part... 4 teams posted 12-5, separated by only 1.5%! And all of them won this week.

First up is... Rio! They dislodge Pacific from 3rd spot largely thanks to New York's capitulation. But was it to their benefit? Pacific, coming off two 159s, will now play Buenos Aires, who are coming off 115 and 117. So who really won this tussle?

Next is Mexico City, who couldn't catch Pacific's % thanks to Seoul's last ditch effort at making finals.

Perhaps the most unluckiest 6th placing ever goes to PNL, who won 7 of its past 8 games going at 149ppg. To make matters even worse, they'll come up against perhaps the 2nd biggest scorer during that period in Rome! (148ppg). Gonna be a helluva elim final!

Sneaking in, we have Beijing, whom despite left itself open for Seoul to dislodge them, hold onto the 8 with a worthy 10-7 record and the 8th highest cumulative score for the season. Definitely belongs!

Lastly... Tokyo finishes its worst season at long last, receiving its first wooden spoon. But as NDT showed, they can finish top 4 next year!
