Rd 11 Banter and Lodgement Thread

With Team announcements now being announced on Thursday night these rules will apply for rest of season given we have approved 6 emergencies in UF. Six emergencies can be nominated but should you not wish to use UF arrangements for replacements ie like for like please name your emergencies in your preferred order in this thread.

Dogs and  Demons players will be locked at bounce of their game 7.50pm Friday as will Captain, Vice Captain and emergency Vice Captain.
All players will then be locked at bounce of Pies/Cats game on Saturday.

With  lockout in UF at bounce of First Saturday game please ensure teams are also updated in UF.

When lodging teams please do not edit teams post in a new or quoted post.

Rd 11 draw with first named team having the HGA

A lot of games this week sees top teams playing lower teams.  Can we see some upsets this week to readjust ladder.

Birmingham Dragons v Oxford Lions
8th v 2nd Do not think the Dragons Fire can combat the raging Lions. Lions to consolidate 2nd position
Huddersfield Hawks v Staines Steins
16th v 4th hard to see the Hawks soaring here so the Steins to continue their thirst for top 4.  Steins to have a % booster
Swansea Breakers v Hastings Hurricanes
13th v 1st - Only way the breakers would win here is if the Hurricanes bus breaks down on way to ground.  Hurricanes to to blow the opposition away and retain top position.
Leeds Leeches v Wrexham Knights
3rd v 6th - One of the games of real relevance this round. Loss by Knights will see them 2 games out of Top 4. Can the Knights defence contain the Leeches captain Clayton Oliver who was in a class of his own last week. Do not think they can so think the Leeches will continue to leech their way up the ladder.
Blackpool Bunnies v Winchester Werewolves
9th v 10th Looking forward to this clash to see how the Bunnies react to the attack of the Wolves.  Last chance for the Wolves to keep in touch with the Top 8 and think they will devour the bunnies to achieve this goal.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Liverpool Rams
15th v 12th Hedgehogs struggling with injury and captains choices but can they latch onto the Rams is the question to be answered this week.  If Hedgehogs regain some cattle they may keep pace with the Rams but think the Rams will tread over the Hedgehogs.
Nottingham Hoods v Grope Lane Giants
7th v 5th Probably another contender for match of the Round. Little separating these 2 teams  and really hard to pick a winner.  With their defensive castle behind them think the Hoods will eventually slay the Giants
Manchester Magic v Bradford Badgers
11th v 14th Will the magic be able to produce the magical spell and make the Badgers disappear.  Will the Badgers absorb the Magical dust and overpower the spell. Tossing a coin and think the spell may prevail. Magic not by many.
