#1
13 keepers or 14 possible with Ziebell - or would Ziebell be a stepping stone
Can you explain the Draper selection, just like to understand the logic
Like the Houston selection. Not having Lloyd Grundy and Neale certainly opens up selection options
How much coin left?
Not a fan of dusty at F1 or F2 as I have seen - too much work to get other fwds in imo but as f3, yes
Balanced team imo

Ziebell will most likely be a stepping stone unless he’s scoring like a Keeper.

Draper is priced at around 350k, he is their sole ruck and therefore spend majority of game there. He is young and still room to develop further this year. He’s a stepping stone also and I believe at a minimum will grow 100k, similar to Marshall 2 years ago.

I think there will be less stoppages this year due to the new rules which open up play and therefore all rucks may suffer and their averages drop. It’s a risk but I think it could pay off.

Very nice team. I have opted for a very similar structure. Hoping the rucks do indeed score less, and my rookie ruck is a stepping stone to Grundy. My teams is as follows:

Laird, Stewart, Howe, Docherty, Clark, Kos (high more Fyfe)

Neale, McRae, Treloar, Cripps, Taranto, Campbell, Bruhr, Powell
(Brockman, McNeil, Gulden)

Gawn, Flynn (Hunter)

Danger, Dusty, Dunkley, Ziebell, Dow, Rowe
(Bergman, Scott)

Thoughts?

I really like that team. The only one I’m not sure about is Treloar in that dogs midfield. Lots of point to be shared.

2 x rookie rucks also is a serious gamble. What if both get dropped?

With Draper I’m gonna take the risk, if it backfires I’ll switch to Sean Darcy when he comes back after Injury

Nice team. My concern would be Houston, Doherty and Taranto, as they're possible not going to be a pass as an acceptable keeper or generate enough cash to benefit this way. If you think they're going to average 95+ in the backline and 108+ for Taranto then they're sound picks.

- Houston hasn't  averaged enough in the past,
- Doherty, aside from his one massive score last year was disappointing, and coming off major knee issues he may not get back to what he was,
- Taranto, hasn't averaged more than 103, stacked GWS midfield)

I think Howe is risky too, back from injury. Overall really solid, hope this helps

Like the team structure,  I agree that 1 prem ruck is a valid choice this year that opens up a lot of options and getting to 13 keepers.
