Very well balanced team.

I personally think I prefer Macrae and Oliver though.

Oliver is only going to get better and I trust Macrae more than I do Zerrett.

In saying that, can’t go wrong with any of the 4.
May end up going back to them. Oliver and Macrae are better premos. You pay for what you get. Cheers MS.

Ringo

Well balanced team there.  Nice bye structure as well.

Milera has been in and out of my team. Rowell althogh in a lot of teams (including mine) is still possibly a watch as he is still yet to have full contact training.

Cheers Ringo. Still 38 days to play around with the team and Rowell to be right for R1 but in the event he’s not playing or a change is necessary I have the funds with this line up to swap him with Titch who shares the bye and coincidentally also has a cloud or question mark beside his name... as does Danger....will be interesting

Byes
R12 Rowell Dangerfield Whitfield Preuss
R13 Neale ZWilliams Walsh Zerrett, Martin
R14 Milera Grundy Marshall Lloyd Adams

Took Macrae out for Zerrett who have the same bye, save 30k and no fear of multiple mids at the doggies anymore with Macrae out of my squad. Took Oliver out for Adams who also has the same bye, save 68k and without Treloar at Collingwood hoping for Adams to score at PB levels which is certainly possible in 2021.
132k to play with...

OMG!!!  Very simular to my side....
D1-D4
R1-R3
F1-F5
M1
are the same

I have Merritt @ M3

Was looking at Adam's too but now a concern for R1

PS we prob need an injury board on the SC Players & Trades
Saw that. Adam’s has tweeted that he’s okay but I have made the change back to Oliver

D- Lloyd, Laird, ZWilliams, Milera, LJones, WGould (JWehr, THighmore)
M- Neale, Oliver, ZMerrett, Walsh, Rowell, Green, CStephens, Collier-D (E Smith, Valente, Durdin)
R- Grundy, Preuss (Treacy)
F- Martin, Butters, Rozee, Ziebell, Daniher, Cockatoo  (SFlanders, JSaunders)

Byes
R12 Rowell Preuss Green Butters Rozee
R13 Neale ZWilliams Walsh Zerrett Martin
R14 Milera Grundy Lloyd Laird Oliver

Made changes left right and centre.
Adams Whitfield Marshall the latest injury victims with Danger, Heeney, Neale, Preuss and just about every other premium featuring in the news for surgery or some other hiccup.
With Laird confirmed by the coach to be set for the midfield and Whitfield now being iffy with a poor recent history of injuries and other ailments it seems a strait forward swap.
If Preuss doesn’t come up I think I’m going to just restart.

Ringo

Time for restart then as reports are Preuss requires surgery so that puts him out for a while sorry.

A lot will be redoing teams now including me.

Hahaha. This pre season has been crazy.
GG it is. Start over required. New structure needed.

Yeah I don't think we can trust Hickey at R2, especially with no Marshall for coverage if it goes pear-shaped. Gawn and Grundy is the safest option moving forward. Otherwise you would need to look at a ROB and there is no guarantee he gets close to the other two.

Looking forward to the restart mate  ;D

I personally spent waaaay to much time last night resetting my team.

Presently...
D- Lloyd, Laird, Docherty, ZWilliams, LJones, WGould (THighmore, I Chugg)
M- Neale, Oliver, ZMerrett, Cripps, Green, E Smith, CDownie, EGulden  (Collier-Dawkins, FMacrae, CLazzaro)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)
F- Dangerfield, Heeney, Ziebell, Daniher, Impey, OHenry  (Fullarton,  JRowe)

Byes
R12 Dangerfield Green
R13 ZWilliams Docherty Neale Zerrett Cripps
R14 Lloyd Laird Oliver Gawn Grundy Heeney

D- Lloyd and Laird pick themselves. I believe Docherty is nearly ready to start full training if he hasn't already (after minor ankle surgery) and at his price think his value is too good to pass up. In a low year by his standards he still went 120+ on 4 occasions with one being 185. Injury 13SC R17 dropped his average with R14-16 average of 109. Williams is popular for more than one reason...and have Chugg for C loophole with F/D DPP which will also help trade flexibility throughout the year I'd think.
M- Neale, Oliver and Zerrett all proven and not skimping on quality mids. Cripps is value. Averaged 119 and 117SC in 2019-20. Was amongst the best v Ess in the praccy game and that's enough for me. Had Walsh in my earlier teams but Cripps is cheaper! Green will rise and should be a safe pick, perhaps a straight swap to a fallen mid on the journey or a keeper at M8. No money for Rowell... if he's tagged and burns a nice POD not to have perhaps.
R- Gawn, Grundy, Flynn... pick themselves now with Preuss out and Marshall out R/F status negating need for Treacy
F- Dangerfield picks himself. Heeney represents value (like Cripps and Docherty) and will feature around the top10 fwds if he stays on the park. JZ, JoeD and Impey are needed and will be popular.

Love it mate!

One of the best teams I’ve seen.

My main concern is the amount of rookies on field but I always like planning for the best and having a few back up plans if need be which I’m sure you do!

Although I’m not picking Docherty myself I do like the pick. Think he’ll love having a stronger side around him so he can get back to his best.

Heeney the only concern with his injury interrupted preseason but the talent is there! Just have to hope horse plays him in the middle.

RoughRed

Good team IMO
I keep looking at Danger and Heeney and worry about injuries but then you can worry about every player to some extent and danger has already proven he can go big hobbling on one leg  ;D
I like the Docherty selection but myself am still preferring Duggan
Really like the rook mids lin light of recent scratch matches, and only one Fwd rook is sound business i think

Thanks for the positive feedback above.
Decided to take Williams out due to fwd role 50/50 spoken by Jack Martin in the Age article
“It’d probably be 50-50, depending on how the game’s going,” he said. “He’ll go forward, I’ll go midfield. We’re just building that little combination I guess.” and bringing McDonald in... He averaged incredibly well in his new role in the second half of last season, he played that same role in their scratch match and dominated again. Seems wise.

Now...
D- Lloyd, Laird, McDonald, Docherty, LJones, WGould (THighmore, I Chugg)
M- Neale, Oliver, ZMerrett, Cripps, Green, E Smith, CDownie, EGulden  (Collier-Dawkins, FMacrae, CLazzaro)
R- Gawn, Grundy (Flynn)
F- Dangerfield, Heeney, Ziebell, Daniher, Impey, OHenry  (Waterman, JRowe)

Byes
R12 McDonald, Dangerfield Green
R13 Docherty Neale Zerrett Cripps
R14 Lloyd Laird Oliver Gawn Grundy Heeney
